*Writes down: Add 'Rant' forum.*Lol
General Forum, here comes the 300 posts on rants. (Yes it does coincide with the movie.)
No, that was a generalisation. There should be exactly 896 files, thats direct from the Reference Data 1.03 folder.
You should have said 900 then.. closer than 800 lol. My guess to this is to put in a fresh GameInfo, RefData, whatever to clear things up. Then see what you're missing. I'll keep a lookout for that program I was talking about. Seems you like faster games more than slower games. Although you can edit planet files, or even edit the orbital resource diggers so they pump out like 100 crystal per second... you could also try editing the trade ports so their trade efficiency is so high that it makes 200 credits per second. I even believe that there are already mods that do this exploit...

That ship speed post was for Halby... If you look around, regen for hull shield and antimatter, those are called HullRestoreRate, etc. It can be found right under max hull, max shield, etc. Note they are all in per second format.

I'll just reinforce the previous posters by saying that modding code in an executable is dangerous as hell... if you really want to try, you could backup .exe and try working on it...
Fine. Its not possible to have 'Infinite' resources. You can mod in ridiculous amounts of everything, by editing various files. Planet files for the Asteroids, and you could add planetary underdevelopment tax, so it would increase, rather than decrease you income.
He's right. Asteroids don't even run out... trade continues infinitely. And if you just want to start with a huge amount of resources, you can mod some files.
Changing existing values should be OK. But in the first two, you have added an entry, where it used to be Zero. That is my number one guess. Secondly, the third reference there, it is 10 times larger than Vanilla, thats quite an increase, that could possibly be messing something up. Edit: The 'Count' numbers are usually a reference above a list in a file, which mostly reads something like ~~~~~~~~Count #, or ~~~~~~~~Number #. The numbers there must reflect any new additi
So your saying that if i mass a hanger defence full of bomber's i could probably decimate the entire enemy fleet of 100 or so ships? That wouldent make much sence so theres got to be a catch.
The hangar holds about 8-9 squadrons. That's typically enough to fend off about 20 small frigates. I won't say anything if the enemy brings 8 or so antifighter frigs. Also, I need to edit in that the antifighter frigs are twice as strong.

Eh. I would suppose. I have to say my idea was more original... But besides that: Either way, the Vasari don't have a sexual gender (no gender-specific anatomy) but an avatar may still preserve the original facial characteristics of something that would appear female. As for the avatars, for both TEC, Advent, and the Vasari, I want to see "younger" versions... all the commanders are older, which is logical; you don't get full reign of a race when you're a child. However,
The fact that they're genetically engineered / cloned does not make them an all male race, just an fyi. Like another race from another sci-fi, after many years of genetic alteration and cloning, the genome breaks down and characteristics which separate male and female are eroded. In lamen terms, they're asexual. If you're up to drawing some more after you get done, Optic, I'd like to see a more refined TEC avatar. You know the usual clean-cut military style, a younger ma
W-what? But how do they ya know... make babies and stuff? Are they insect-like where there's a big fat queen who lays thousands of eggs or something? Damn, I had an idea of what I wanted to draw for a female vasari too...
Although I really actually want to see the female vasari, yes, the vasari are all male. They reproduce using genetic engineering/cloning. Yeah, it's in the lore and in the manual... Although if you've seen my dA page (which is also asianmaster939...

Squadron Booster Introduction A v1.03 fully compatible mod for SoaSE that increases the role of fighters and bombers in the game besides being pretty to watch. Based off the idea that two or three anti-ship missiles can absolutely destroy a large Nimitz-class supercarrier. Description If I scared you away by saying only two missiles can destroy a carrier, I'm sorry. But, the strike craft in-game are ju
Ok, firstly, please stop bumping. Twice in an evening is... a little excessive. What Kruelgor said is spot on, its a good idea but who and how will it be enforced? If everyone drove at the speed limit, there would be a lot less injures and deaths on the road. If everyone switched off lights (insert another energy saving technique here), then we would save a lot of resources and, if you believe it, slow global warming. You see where I'm going? I put [MOD] in front of my m

If people just stick to it, that should make things easier... remember that this is just general criteria... it helps.

No but I mod enough and have seen enough forums that organization is very good. Also I like to hide my age so no one thinks not to listen to me because I'm "too young" or something.... age is no factor when the idea is sound.
