I really hope they don't make a bunch of new races. To keep up quality we'd have to wait periods of years, and by then, graphics, gameplay, etc. will be continually upgraded by other developers and this game will be irrelevant. If they sacrifice quality there is no point in playing something terribly balanced, I won't even touch it. it wouldn't have been tough to add 1 hardpoint per side to the starbase meshes, assign the weapon to anti-SC and remove particle effects so it doesn't overload the particle handling.
so you gonna bitch about it or put out ideas to solve issue? you don't like 15/5 damage split, so what in your opinion would fix it... better... where are the core MP players and their opinions?
novalith should affect starbase for some damage If you have infinite number of fighters affected by AOE, it will clog things up. this is why flak and tk both affect a limited number of strikecraft.

your ideas will be used without your permission because they are only ideas. StarClad does the same thing -and to stuff released in mods, but that is their privilege for making the game. Modders, however, will ask permission to use your WORK in their mods, but ... ... you have no work and most of those ideas have already been used.

Well, seems time for the MP community to put together a "Competitive Mod"
stardock put that achievement in knowing it can't be completed. This was done, imho, so that achievement whores -like everyone else who had hope- don't get too satisfied with the game. I could but wrong, but who knows.
anyone else have the issue that dev.exe for rebellion doesn't update changes right when you save a file? fucking thing has issues. I change file... wait... wait... FFS! beat on keyboard, then restart rebellion dev.exe. I miss the quickness of trinity dev.exe versions.

tried to get into the discovery server back in july, but email never replied to. GL on this mod. Too bad there is nothing in the way of campaign for SOASER or it'd be fantastic.
bombers are the best way. carrier fleet in and keep it far from the starbase. if vasari starbase, keep moving away from it until dead -but the damn thing could jump away.

240 second cooldown and 45 second duration. To have the 50% hyperspace speed penalty, you'll need at least 6 and good timing. Not the best way to defend a world, but certainly the most annoying -nice however on long distance jumps so you can get your orky in position. Changing the duration to 24 seconds might reduce it -or increase the tactical slot count for the PJI.
Juan, that's too Advent. Adaptive Shield and Flak Burst -half the antimatter. You really don't want passives on a capital, AI screws up worse than Gump vs Unix.
Doubtful that they quit. Swiss seems, if anything, persistent. I'm looking forward to seeing the final product.
