Requires GalaxyForge 1.05 and GalaxyForge 1.1, notepad, and creativity. If you create a map in GalaxyForge 1.1, look around for the randomize position area in the GForge Window and set to False. That might help.
Creating this thread for people who want to use Galaxy Forge 1.1 to make maps for SINS 1.05 that have easy wormhole connectivity. What you need: 1. Galaxy Forge 1.05 2. Notepad 3. I blame genetics for my gigantic ass, but what excuse is there for GF1.1? I did find a very nice solution to some of the problems with GF1.1. You'll love this. I make my map in GF1.05 using the GSDef file for 7DS so I have all my templates available for rapid placement, then change the version number in notepad to 2 and open into GF1.1 with my GSDef, add the wormhole interconnections between stars, save it and change the version number back to 1. because star/clad doesn't want you to have fixable player start points. people have only been asking for this since early beta testing.
editted by poster with apology for being a dick. Question, where are the templates that are in the GalaxyScenarioDef? GalaxyScenrioDef File -adds the structures you left out and has all the artifacts. Scenario Template Making -a guide since one doesn't exist other than this.

The feature is in Dev.exe and able to be mapped to a key. Who in their divine wisdom removed this toggle "Camera Twist"

One thing about Developer.EXE is that it does not tell you exactly what generates an error. For some things, you'll know what cause the problem, but many times you get the error and have to hunt your ass off trying to figure out what caused it. dump files are pretty worthless, but the LOG text files can be useful. Again, often you'll have no freaking clue what actually caused the error and most are crap thrown just because it's SINS. Also... Star/Clad won't give an

Media Encoder 9 will allow you to create custom profiles for saving your movies in different screen resolutions and quality levels. Once you download/install Media Encoder 9, click START, find Windows Media, Utilities, then Windows Media Profile Editor.

This just gives everyone time to 5x stitch their zippers and buy that 2in thick bulletproof glass for the monitors. Don't ask, but 4x and 1.5in thick BPG just doesn't cut it.
so when is player start being addressed? the whole random start point sucks.

get a program called "Deep Freeze" Anything goes wonky program-wise or infected/hacked it'll restore everything to working order in no time. Also, put a BIOS boot-up PW on your computer to keep others from using it.
