What is a "Scenario Template" and how can I use it? How can I create a fleet of ships for AI's when the AI starts with the planet? say I want "player3" which owns "planet43" (a desert planet) to start with 2 capitals, 12 frigs, and 4 cruiser of a particular tech/race? How can I designate player start points? not just assigning planets to player0 or 1/2/3/4/etc... I want particular players to start in particular places.

If SINS turns into what EVE-Online is now (Cap Fleets Online), it's truly very sad. 2-3 squads per frig carrier is a bit much for a frig. Advent drone hosts are annoying enough as is without each having 3 squads.

I have built a map that is campaignesque using DEADLY FORGE and playable with 7 DEADLY SINS by Danman (yes, I am Danman's Fanboi -love their work). Player starts as a Rogue (gotta read the readme for what to do to play it properly) with their home planet being an asteroid and a nearby AI empire -one of the empires that dispossessed you. yup, campaign is needed. it gives players something to do after being spammed by "X" and holds their interest -if the campaign is worth it's salt. Give the community a campaign editor and let us tell the damn story.

Please, for the love of kittens! FIXES NEEDED: Allow us to designate player start points! -in sins and in galaxy forge. random placement at all times isn't the best and tbph sucks for map designers with vision. Allow credit/crystal/metal start editing from within SINS + ability to override map defaults. Allow starting civil/military labs or tech level. Allow exclusion of tech. Boba... good luck, this will cause a lot of performance issues. I did a full Freelancer [EliteUK] map with 1 Rogue Star + average of 3 "Planets" to make a "Solar System"... well, handling 62 Rogue Stars + 420 "Planet(oids)" requires a computer much better than my AMD 3800+ dual core, 2 gb ram, GeForce 7950 GT (256mb). Try 1 star per "Cluster" so you have about 5-6 stars. This might be less of a strain and will certainly make travel time easier. So does adding lots of wormholes -if yo

I would like "global activation" of abilities when I activate an ability in a stack of 10 ships -like the afterburner on 10 kodiaks activating when I click the Q. Curved pathing please. These ships have very limited manueverability in a Shift/click path. Include most of 7 Deadly Sins :LOL:

Get 7 Deadly Sins by Danman. Rouge race can capture enemy frigs/cruisers/structures, but lack their own colony ship so you must capture one. They are a tough start race, however the capture cruisers can be built without research -you just have to use the race right.

you get negative karma for being ticked at absolutely no campaign, griping about boring map after boring map because even though you can design a massive 547 planet(oid) map based around 32 Rogue Stars with numerous wormholes, pirate bases, numerous npc factions, etc... to the research deployment... Why don't the ships cost more? I don't mind the globalized upgrading issue, it's the cost. Actually, I do mind the sudden upgrading of deployed fleets. How does a kodiak in the field suddenly get a speed booster or armor/shield increase? Deployed ships should stay at the tech level they rolled out as or at least put in the ability to send it for upgrades for a certain amount of credits/crystal/metal -or maybe a logistics cruiser (battleship stats/cost, but cruis

If you want more lag, make planetary clusters orbit suns/rogue stars, moons/belts/anomalies/etc... orbit planets, and planetary structures that orbit planets/moons. The game will constantly be updating phase lanes or jump coordinates (assuming a free movement system comes to SINS). Take it from CCP -designers of EVE ONLINE- Newtonian Physics are overrated. Campaign and Campaign Editor are a must for SINS. Locked Player Start Positions!!! These are absolutely needed for those of us who want to create campaignesque maps. Battle Stations: Oh yeah. Go locked teams and in a 1h vs 3ai only go with 1-2 hard and 1 norm -3ai in hard mode is a tough nut to crack as they seem to spam fleets with ease out of nowhere. Also, I think the AI cheats.
