The game as it is now in Rebellion is pretty good though I'd like to nerf the Maw ability on the Vasari Loyalist titan. Of course they cannot just remake the game without some sort of added content or everyone will scream "that's just the same game on a new engine!". So, I think they should consider adding two more races (4 factions). It's going to be hard to balance, but that's what they will probably have to do--what the heck else could they do without messing the game

I remember when I played Unreal Tournament (UT99) on dial-up and I used to figure out what maps a server was playi
I'm referring to the fact that apparently 95% of players have never tried MP. It seems really suspicious given the surge in player counts in MP after each steam sale.
How many people do you think purchase the game during the $8/$10 sales? I don't know, but a couple thousand does not seem like an unrealistic number. The surge in player counts isn't all that great, perhaps a couple hundred people.

HBO shows are entertaining. In contrast, reading this forum is very boring and whatever petty squabbles people have really aren't that interesting or worth paying much attention to.

The game's ICO activity can be reinvigorated by STEAM sales. So it's hard to say where the game will be in six months. What would happen if it sold on STEAM for $5 at some point? As the game gets older its price will decrease, allowing for even lower sale prices that could pack the server full of players.

Heck, for a successful game you'd hope to have a couple hundred active clans at any one time. I miss Clan X, as in, "I'm gonna do to Clan X what happened to Girl X."

However, even that is still insufficient if you have, say, 200 creds/sec plus Pervasive Economy and you want to give an ally 40,000 creds in a jiffy (they can pile up as you're focusing on other things).

I truly don't understand the complaints people have about the AI. Isn't the entire point of playing the AI to have a feckless opponent that's incapable of strategy and tactics? The AI needs to remain AI because if it started to play like a human player, 99.9% of all Sins owners would freak out.

As a general rule, the AI in this game is retarded compared to what a human opponent can do (which is why I have difficulty understanding why so many people are content to just playing the AI). As a practical matter, here's what happens: When a player on your team drops, you evaluate your situation. Was he a top player, a good player, an average player, a mediocre player, or a noob? Is your team currently winning or losing? What position was he playing? Losin
