When i first played entranchment i played as the TEC and was looking through the Tech tree and saw the new Beam weapon upgrade and down where it lists the affected units it says, "Star Bases improved. All" Which made me think that there was more than one type of starbase for each faction, sadly there wasn't, but on that thought There could be. We could keep the current ones and make them more of a Small outpost and then have true starbasses that can only be built in gravity wells that don't h

I didn't feel it was nescasary to go into specifics and exactly how the mines would work, but seems it was needed. I assume that instead of a general "don't blow up" signal the mines would probably need a password of sorts. Again, its not really that hard. So allied ships would have to broadcast something like this, "Bravo9445-T64Zeta, Temprorary disarm, Standby. This message would need to be on the right frequency and directed at a specific spot on the mine, and it would need to be d

Honestly people, you don't need a credit card, a debit card works fine, and those are so easy to get. Go to the nearest bank and open an account and but the 20$ in it and you will get a debit card in days. If that is to hard then get a job at burger king, they give you a debit card so that they can pay you. Hell there is even a thing called a "Only 1 prepaid visa card" Its a card designed for people who need to purchase things over the internet and such, and who can't get real debit or credit
Why do people keep posting this glitch this is the third time it has been posted now...
Probably because we don't look at everysingle bug report before bring attention to it. The alternative would be for me just to say nothign since i don't have the time too look through the entire forum when every one is posting about various things.
6) I just chased some vasari through a plasma storm and they had grabed all 3 of the resource extractors, but maybe thats becuase they use scouts.
Well i figured out how to get a picture up. As you can see the green box moved out from the top and went to the side. Also if you view the starbase from behind like (Camera looking at starbase-Starbase_green box) the green box dissapears. ITs only visable from about 180 degrees. <img src="http://i437.photobucket.com/albums/qq92/silveussama/starbase.jpg" alt=""
I noticed that the TEC starbase builds trade ships and the first 2-3 work fine, but the remaining ones just stand there and never move. And if your starbase can also build ships the build ships sometimes get stuck inbetween the trade ships.
I just got the beta a few hours ago and started playing as advent and then moved over to TEC. I noticed a few bugs but most of them are obvious, so i figured some one else would mention them (And they did). Then i ran into a little graphic bug with the TEC starbase. On the top of the star base where it builds ships there is the glowing square, Well for some reason that moved outside of my starbase and is now set up about where the trading docks would be. I have a picture

This is very simple and common sense thing to me, so I do not even know why there is a discussion here. In the great scheme of things a single player campaign dosen't
Atlantica online was mentioned, I haven't played it before but i see lots of adds for it. They have a thing going where if you play it and get to level 50 (Not sure how hard that is) and descide you don't like it they will give you 50 Dollars for your character. My freind did it and it worked out well, no hassle.
Hmm. I disagree. I think Video games are primarily a way to tell a story, just in an interactive way. With exceptions, no matter what you do in the game, it won’t change the story. It doesn't matter if you play defensively, offensively, use
That might have been one of the funniest things i have ever read. Made my day. On that note, i do agree that a story mode would be nice. Star craft had a really good story for an rts and thats one of the reasons why people claim its one of the best rts ever. Sins has the foundation for a really good story, its got 3 completly differnet races that are just begging to be explored. It would be a real shame if the game never gets into any kind of detail with the story.
I always assumed that hyperspace was just an out of Phase version of the current dimension. Your technicaly leaving the current dimension but you aren't eally goin into the next one, you inside the border. Your close enough that things with a large amount of mass and gravity can pull you back, but things like little peices of space junk wont have any effect.
To answer the original question, I think your assuming the Torpedo Ships will be able to kill the starbase in a few salvos. The way i am seeing it is that the torpedo ships will not actualy do as much damage as a capital ship, or even a Kodiak/Enforcer/Crusaider, But they will be able to do it from range. The star base will be able to hit them, but not with all of its weapons, only its really long range ones. So if you do go in with nothing but Torpedo ships you will ne
I have had Vista Ultimate for about 18 months and in that time i think i had one crash that forced me to restart my computer. Vista works mcuh better than my experiance with Xp, which crashed like once a day.
I think Conte Could probably get a refund. Stardock does say that if the game doesn't run you can return it, I am not exactly sure how to return a digital game but i assume its possible. Generly speaking, even if COnte's complaint didn't fall into a catagory that would allow him to return his game, stardock would probably let it happen anyway since it is customer support. The problem here is that Conte went about this in all the wrong ways. Lets assume i get sour milk from a super mar

If the car continues to have problems for years you get your money back no matter haw many miles you drove it. Plus my experience is that Vasari Ra does not work nor Advent Cap automatic upgrades to ten or TEC Nov... gun. After months of waiting Nobody debugged this version. Meanwhile someone made millions of $ revenue. Follow the money. <br
Impulse is a buisness venture for stardock. I am pretty sure they are trying to get other developers to relsease games on it too. If your advacationg a new product don't you think it would seem weird to not use it yourself? You know, the part about gamer's having the right not to be treated like criminals and all that. <br /
I was personaly a little annoyed when i had to install and use impulse to get patches, not because of any problems with it, just because i didn't want to have to go through downloading something, figuring out how to use it and then installing the patch. Its generaly more work than what i wanted to put in to get a patch, but i am pretty lazy. Eventualy i moaned and groaned for a while and installed it with no problems, got my patch and even purchased Galactic civ, and have never opened i
As for space fighters vs. capital ships, that does not really matter. The fighters are there because they can take on over half of the non militarized galaxy. Only future technology can truly discover how efficiently fighters can pare up against not only other fighters, but vs the biggest and meanest ships the galaxy has to offer. The more efficient fighters are, the more you'll see. If not, you'll see them only in very minor use.
There you go, as long as fighters can d
I dunno. for the most part, ships in sins are a bit apart from one another, so it would take a lot of ships to form something of a meat shield. that doesnt say that it cannot be modified for greater fleet coherence though. I still prefer the mitigation approach.
I think you could get enough cobalts around a Kol to block atleast 50% of the fire at first. And if its made that you can still fire at the Ko
