Foreign Keys are uses to ensure you don't add data to a table that doesn't link to a parent table (this would create orphan records). Using Kyro's example you can't have a sales order until you have an item to link it to. What this means is you need to populate your refererence data first before adding your other data. By this I mean you need to add things like country or states before setting up addresses, or items for sale before you add sales orders or setup suppliers before y

Out of all the existing rank threads, How's wins because of the number of entries. However I think this one will dethrone it once you get some more people up there - kudos to RA - another example of his clear, well thought out analysis - very little emotion but a lot of thought included
Hi JJ I know you can repair it as it builds (esp good for Vassari :D) - but I agree with Whip - its like the building SB actually take less damage as if the armour was much highter...
Even with that many illums the maths is on your side - your friend's fleet was 1/2 your size in slots...
Btw, thinking of gettign demigod....looks like it involes as little strategy as this does though.
Wrong and wrong - this game DOES need startegy, and so does Demigod. One is more startegic and one is more tactical though due the the scales involved...
Oh, but in all seriousness, congratulations, congratulations, and congratulations. A baby is by far a better thing to invest time in than this game. We'll miss you till then bro.
Far more expensive $$$ wise then Sins though... ;)
It might be my imagination, but a building SB seems harder to kill then a non-upgraded built one (not talking about the damage it does to your fleet - just the amount of hits it seems to take and how quickly it dies from focus fire).
I've been playing under BIA tags mostly of late, which may not be in your list...
Correct - Lando talking to the group about Cloud City as they trevel to dinner with Vader. I just thought it was a good take off of the comment about being a small clan (which can be used instead of guild in some circumstances - probably saying too much now :D).
Little tip to the OP - how about just asking your question rather then slagging off the game and demanding your money back and calling it a POS. A game doesn't win this many awards without ticking those basic functionality boxes - so make sure the issue is not a PEBCAK error... One final thing to note - hard and unfair get extra resources so can have a larger fleet then you as they can afford it...
My clan only has 3 players and we are rarely ever noticed, but we prefer to be that way, as we aren't competitive, we are just here for fun.
"So you're part of the Mining Guild, then?" "No, not actually. Our operation is small enough not to be noticed, which is advantageous for everybody since our customers are anxious to avoid attracting attention to themselves."
Happy Birthday flip
I heard it was 6 hours...
Hack I will not allow that kind of language in my thread, im reporting you!
Hope they don't bring out the ban hammer!!! :D
Clan seen breaks into either the good ones who are invite only or the not so good ones that are more social but will let people in. Main "competitive" ones at the moment are BIA, DT and DU. If you want to be competitive and play in the skilled matches, learn the game, and play the PUG matches (if you don't know what these are you'll find out soon enough). You will learn who the good players are and if you are good they will learn who you are. If someone thinks you are good enough you
One of them shows a race's capital
who else should be on this list?
People who have been around since 1.05 days and are regular members of skilled matches???
Oh smeg....
really? sounds like we are balancing vasari's paper against that of the other to races. i'd say the neutral cap ability makes them stronger. maybe...mix in some assailants with your scouts?
I think you just missed the whole point here - the point is NOT to build LRMs to fight other LRMs...
For those not in the know Type /f to send to everyone in your friends list that is logged in (i.e. broadcast) Type /wf and press tab to cycle through your logged in friends and send a whisper to them only(similar to using /w to pick one person out of everyone in a given lobby/game)
Great - now how about the same for Sins - at least with map downloading? I have been saying for ages that Impulse should allow people to download and install custom maps - Centurion has been REALLY asking for maps here. We've been told that the Sins engine doesn't allow it - so if impulse can???
Maybe if there were more people on the list I might care more, but at the moment How's list has more people on it, and is therefore of more interest to me...
With the latest release they've disabled abilities in plasma storms, this in turn means I can't build my starbase there to watch that sector... re-enable please!
They deliberately did this to stop ANY ability working in that grav well...
I'm up for a clan game sometime... BTW - not sure BlackHawk is as good as Sunny yet - we probably have some schooling to do there!!! :D
