Well, a simple thing to ask it seems, but I think it is a bit late at this point to redirect resources in order to make this. I'm guessing that sooner or later a mod will do this anyway. I think it's a great idea- Star Craft does this I believe. However, I'm willing to bet that at this point the devs are a lot more concerned with balancing and such before the release.
Personally, I think Volt_Cruelerz's idea makes sense, however, lets be honest, it is a bit ambitious to think that all 3 races would make an alliance. I must say I am in agreement about the Rebellion soundtracks. Truth is, I've always liked a few good videogame soundtracks. I love running to either good battle music, for which the rebellion music would be perfect.
I just wish that they'd use voices that are at least believable as military. I like how 7DS kept the same voices, but changed it so it sounded like they were talking over a radio. (I also love the TEC/TCA voices they added) I do hope that there will be a mod for the voices for the TEC and Advent. Maybe take a few voices from Starcraft or something. However, I must say that I love the VO for the Vasari. They've got the best by far, on all counts.

A coworker of mine is intending to sell off one of his older PCs, and start another from scratch. He's asking $550. I've looked up the price of the parts, and so far, adding everything up is worth more then he's asking, and it's about 5 months old. Hmmm. While I love me a good campaign, and I do hope they add it in, I feel like Sins as a whole isn't really wouldn't work out as well with scenarios as most other campaigns would. I feel like it's only made for a minimalist campaign, at most. However, I'd love to see a full blown campaign anyways.
Personally I don't like the jumps away from your home planet idea. By the time you get that far it would not be near as useful. Maybe like a level 2 or 3 tech that would apply to the planets within a system.

I think a pushback effect would be cool. Maybe focus more on that or lingering debuffs, rather then actual damage.
Now, in all honesty, an explosion that expands through the entire gravity well, is, in my opinion, a bit over the top. I'd say a relatively small band for the explosion, but maybe chunks flying in random directions, meaning that any long range damage from the blast would be in the shape of a few cones. That way, it certainly would be spectacular, but it would never kill and entire fleet. (unless you somehow managed to line your entire fleet up in a straight line) And also,
I like that line too, but as a whole, the TEC voices are sub-par, I think. I have a hard time believing a lot of them are captains of warships.
I've been experimenting with the board ability, and while it seems good and dandy for capturing structures and frigates, when I tried to capture a Novalith cannon, I didn't get quite what I wanted. D See, there was no way to use it. The only actions it had was "stop". No option to fire it. I even built one of my own, and it had the option to fire. I noticed things like the hangar structure still keeps the ability to hold strike craft, so is there a reason the Novalith cann
