Thats it, I'm done with the sins forums, I will stick to the elemental forums, at least its not full of the same mouthbreather postings day in and day out.
dragoaskani
sorry I Forgot the forums is full of bads who couldn't beat them. Game on losers.
too late, don't patch if you don't want pushover pirates. The cry babies got their way again.
They just nerfed the shit outta them....

(sorry I didn't click your linky, watching Quantum of Solace, so I took you half serious, half sarcastic) :D And I know the truth pisses some people off, they just can't handle simple ugly truths. Then again we are a society that plays video games and thing sas forms of escapism to get past the mundan aspects of life. Or at least thats what people tell me. Me I think people are just bas-tard coated bas-tards with bas-tard filling. :D
Not sure if we are consideringt his a bug or not, thusly the ? in my [bug]. Anyways noticed that if you wipe out an AI while you have a mission against them that you will autofail it.This is what happend. I wiped out a Vasari AI, but didn't have enough ships to kill for the Mission to complete. Also it was past the timer to reject the mission. So I just had to let the misson auto fail causing the 4.5 relations swing for the failed misson. I am assuming this is a bug, but perhaps not.<
The 1.01 pirates are a joke again. Or at least they were on the 2nd attack against me. I sent them after everyone else the only game I played of 1.01. Was just a 4 player map though so it was over in an hour and a half. Normally play on fastest, but I played on normal to see if I could spot any bugs. Did find one which I will post now actually.
LOL cook burgers, thats funny. :) Listen Child, I graduated from College 10 years ago. :D Like I said I was teasing, but if you want to get personal on the internet we can do that princess. :) Been a year and a half since my last ban, I like to play though.
I've already done my good deed of explaining this today. Use the search function next time this was covered in Beta. I can't help you cause if I did a second good deed, then my inner Karma of evilness would get outta whack and I would be a goodie two shoes like Kitkun and would have to kill myself. (KITKUN be my archnemesis!!? I always wanted one...)
Read the patch notes? this is underlined in it. They can't make it any clearer can they?? A neon sign in your front yard perhaps? :D Just so ya know though, every patch for sins does this, so next time you will know to delete those save games first, or finish them then patch up. NOTE: THIS UPDATE WILL INVALIDATE YOUR EXISTING SAVE GAMES AND REPLAYS.

My point was still valid kit. If you agree with me or not isn't a factor. He's "worried" about the impulse distribution method which is idiocy. The funny thing about that banning is it was for being really mean, this is just honesty. There is a difference. **edit to the post above me, I will refrain from calling you every form of unintelligent I can think of and just point out that its the first sticky on the top of this forum that you JUST POSTED IN. Good day sir
Learn to read, in the announcement post's first page the devs said it had to be pushed till Thursday (today). So in closing, you are an idiot, impulse is fine.
Your floating 737 fleet cap right now, I would suggest at least 30 carriers. 60% fighters, 40% bombers. Make a seperate fleet of them. Send your main fleet in to fight first. Followed by the carrier fleet. Keep the carrier fleet away from them and watch it pick them apart. This is assuming you spend the rest of yoru fleet capacity on either Kodiaks for durability, or a large LRF and Hoshinko assault force. I firmly believe that Sins is won in the Skys, so to speak.
LRM? Never heard that one used, I assume its a typo on LRFs. Flak stands is a reference to Flak ships, aka antiaircraft ships which used Flak Cannons I believe in WW1 or 2. My history might be off, but the reference is correct. *edit: I guess since Vasari use missles perhaps some people just call them LRM to stand for long range missles.
Theres your problem then. The cobalts. They are junk sadly over all. You would be better off with tons of LRF's. Alot more damage for not much weaker armor hp. And yes they stand for Long Range Frigates. If you had 50 LRFS with your 2 capitals, you would shred enemy ships like no tomorrow. (note I am still advocating dropping a cap.) I tend to play advent and have to wait even longer then you to get my Illuminators online but its important to make use of LRF's. They are much more powerf
I play modless so I will just go over generic RTS staples then just to avoid any irrelevence. A) are you micromanaging your fleet, or just letting them fire freely.(focus fire wins the day when you can spare the time to stay on one battle front) B ) Are you Focusing on Their caps, or their Frigates? (This of course requires you to have answered yes to Micromanagement on question A. Depending on the situation it can sometimes be MUCH more prudant to save the capitals for last,
Get better? I can faceroll 8 Cruel AI's by myself. All sarcasm and elitism aside though I'm not sure what to tell you. The difficulty of the game feels the same to me overall. I tend to warmonger with my Advent. Twin Halycon's are great for this. Um how long time wise was this into the game? Really without more details or a save game its hard to give advice. Because quite frankly I don't think the problems with the game itself.
Whats this [Fixed Next Build] part thats been added to the title? There was nothing wrong with them frogboy. This is just like in wow where failures and scrubs can't beat something so they cry and cry till it gets nerfed...good job cry babies.
Could we drop the L2P garbage and elitism and just get back to discussing what changes might be good? Thanks.
Changes aren't needed they aren't hard! Wiping them out and 6-8 cruel AI's is still just a matter of a few hours. Perhaps its my warmongering approach, I dont really do the "diplomacy" thing. I am not being elitist, I am just not understanding where people are having problems with them. I am easily dispatching them and the AI...T
Well I still disagree. Perhaps it scales too high in your "15 hour game" (I call bs on this game length unless your playing on slow) but in any regular game they won't be a problem except to bad players. My advice, get better.
15 hours huh? I don't play more then 6-8 opponents so that the games over in 2 hours on fastest settings. 15 hours of sins sounds yucky, thats what civ 4 and galactic civ 2 is for.
They always attack the SB. And even if they didnt my defence fleet wipes them out shortly. You guys seriously need to get better...Ive been playing this since release day and they are not much harder. Its always the same 3-4 planet bombers and the rest is just basic pirate crap. I mean seriously how can you not defend against this? By 6-7 minutes in game you should have a fledgling economy and 2 cap ships, by 15-20 minutes in game you should have at least 200ish spent in ship population and y
Please Stardock, don't make me turn off the Pirates just because you wanted to add to Diplomacy the ability to hire thugs.
Look I'm not trying to be mean here. But you seriously must be very bad. The pirates in the game are still nothing but a predictable minor annoyance. Even with the latest diplomacy build. (1.055 I think it is) A starbase with 1 health upgrade and 1 weapons upgrade will destroy them
