They released that in beta 3. So you clearly shoulda updated to that and played it a long time ago...
We will find out next week I guess. Supposedly it releases on the 9th so 6 days.
bah it lagged and doubleposted.
When the game was in production Strong Single core systems like mine with an OC'd 4.2ghz were still the gaming rigs of the day. Now my machines starting to be outdated, but I'm almost done with my core I7 machine and will be OCing her to 4+ also. :) Im on the fence about the video card though, my 8800 gtx ultra is still holding its own against anything I can throw at it so I may wait for this Next generation of card to upgrade.
the problem inherient with a post like this is less then 1% of the player base visits forums on a regular basis and you expect your results to adequetly show what the playerbase wants? wake up.
Don't know if it should be considered a bug or not, or if its been mentioned before. (I couldn't find mention of it in a brief scan, but if I overlooked it my apologies.) So when we have cease fires with others and their ships jump to our gravity wells we are getting incoming hostiles messages. I don't remember this being the case in the core game, though I havent played it in awhile. So is it an isolated problem on my version or are others experiencing this as well? Just curious.
actually I got karma for reply #3 which was my non-mouthy comments in well spoken paragraphs. A brief moment of lucidity if you will. well besides the princess comment, and well that was just a baited hook.
NO edit button so also take a look at who some of my Karma is from. Thats right from moderators on this thread. Guess they agree with me on post #3 of course not on my mouth. I take full credit for my mouth, you should hear it in person really. Cause I promise you princess you couldnt do a damn thing about it.
Go back to your basement little girl, leave the trolling to the professionals.
Where does it say that the developers have to give feedback? Technically they are just giving you the new version of the game to play and see what you find. Sure you are doing them a favor. But that doesn't mean they have to come here and post about it. First off that starts a kinda "last kid picked" mentallity for the people who's threads don't get a developer responce. Just look at the wow forums if you want to see an idea of what I mean and thats just spamming for the Blue post moderators
And Dragon, your the only person in the forum that sounds like he has his "paties in a bunch" and "bitching".
Idiot can't even read my name right. Where are you coming up with dragon? Douche.
The AI does like to spam carriers. Keep in mind that 10 Advent carriers with 30 squadrons are worth 200 supply points. That's 50 disciples and 50 light frigates would eat those 10 carriers alive. Flak aren't useful anymore but at least light frigates are. Personally, I think the heavy focus in strikecraft is annoying because destroying them serves little purpose as they regenerate for free. You have to go after the carriers.

Well, i just stumbled on the real cause of fighters uberness : self repair. I watched a bomber squadron duke it out with a neutral flak frigate. The flak did damage the bombers, but it was randomly hitting them. So it never actually killed one, and the bombers were repairing themselves almost as fast as they flak figate was damaging them. So i think the most urgent fix would be to tone down, if not disable self repair on fighters and bombers so fla
I decided that after I posted. Shame I was a victim of a missing edit button and could really careless what you think. Hes also asking for the type of support that a game with 10.7 million players who subscribe to it get. I could go on and on but the fact is that while this game is popular it hasnt sold even close to the numbers of wow (which is where he got his ideas) and doesnt get a monthly subscription. I believe the number sold is still under 500,000 copies even. That being
wait till 1.1 is live and you see a billion threads about carriers. :) cause your HC answer wont work there.
Apparently you are one of the ignorant masses. This is the beta test forum, why do you think that is? OH RIGHT! Cause there is a a ******* public beta test of the patch already underway. I would explain to you how to get it, but since you took the time to right out all that ignorant and constructive commentary. I will leave you to figure it out on your own.
Its actually quite easy. The moment you assign a squad it comes full force (ie - click on the icon) but if the squad is destroyed and needs rebuilding it takes time (not clicking an icon). It will surely need some additional lines of code but it should not be that difficult distinguishing between an assign click and auto rebuild. The only issues i can think of would result in scutteling squads (wich is bugged in any case atm and needs work). A p
To answer the OP's question we give a deep and profound thought out responce. Here it is. No.
The OP was banned days ago you wont be getting replies from him.
Killing TEC is like destroying Gnomes in wow PvP it never gets old. Even when your the TEC its like MMMMMMMMM tec killing time.
Odd in my 1.09 unfair ai only does that when I take out their capital ships. I will admit I tend to exploit this fact by taking out all the missle cruisers and stuff they have and when my losses start becoming more then 8% of my fleet I wipe out their caps. Then as they run away I slice and dice the fleeing fools. In responce to the guy complaining about them running away. Simple solution if you want your big epic space battle. Take it to their home planet, they will st
Why don't you try micromanaging your fleet? Actually lets take it one step further even. Divide your fleet into mutliple fleets. Depending on your race I would go with 3-4 caps, and about 30lrf, 30 hc, 40 carriers, 20 flak, 15 lf. Have the flaks in the same fleet as teh HC and just micro manage your forces. The carriers being in their own fleet is very important since you dont want them anywhere near combat, thats what their fighters and bombers are for. I personally go
I usually deal with culture by calling them silly english conigits and flinging a cow at them. All from the top of my culture center of course. The unity will claim you all, even those of you that smell of hamsters and elderberries.
Your not asking the important question. Why is a warlock wearing jewerly?? Seriously though I am assuming both machines have the same OS? Vista and XP have some issues sometimes when trying to lan them together in games.
