Remember that Species 8472 ships have nothing of trails when they move.
purdyaw
Remember, the Battle Frigate is the same size as the Battleship. Try not to make it on the same level as a light or long range frigate just because it says "frigate"
hahaha, You don't know which is fore or aft. I'm sorry, I forgot you'd probably have no idea. I was hoping http://gaming.trekcore.com/armada2/ships-species8472.html would make it obvious which way is forward. If now, I can give further info. (it's the green side) The Battle Frigate is pretty much the same size as a Battleship. It should be about the size of a Revelation class Battlecruise
myfist is making a mod. I was in the first EVE mod attmpt, and he plans to incorporate EVE. Would he be taking every race from other people's mods? That would cause wreckless gameplay. This is for myfist0. I will work on it. Why would an Abaddon be capable of wiping of 2 or 3 tec capitals? Compared to most space operas/fictional space empires, EVE Online is quite primitive. There are ways to reduce polycount. I believe there are automatic ways to get a modeling program to re-gener

I joined the Navy, lol... that's what happened.
Yes, that is correct. I never said it could win versus Vasari in neutral or hostile grounds, but Advent capitals alone are more than enough to keep them from continuing past a chokepoint.... preferably a starbased asteroids with inhibitor and disorientation. Against TEC, I am sure everyone's seen this in multiplayer: The Advent that the enemy left alone for too long. He was so bored that all he made was caps. You know that fleet? Yeah, it steamrolls TEC.
video game doth require reason to make sense, yet cents make no sense at all. Therefore, the response to the top half can be nothing other than, "nu uh," and to the bottom half, I suggest you hit bat.
If you get an email, foward it here so I can reply with "ha, ha, ha, ha... ha" http://www.gamefront.com/files/20872734/8472.zip This is a 7 day upload to Gamefront with OBJ, MTL, and TGAs
I tend to play Advent if just for the fact that maxing out their capital ships alone is enough to fend off the vasari swarm or crush TEC; albiet, you usually require other than capital ships before that because of the tech tree requirements, never the less, I'm just saying why I love Advent. . . You just need to hold off enough until you are ultimately ultimate. With that said, I must protest your Vasari Evacuator and TEC battlecruiser. they both absolutely suck... and that Advent
I... wish this existed two years ago.
So basically now you're just posting to make me look at words. I am in the process of getting a way to convert SOD to a workable model file type. Here is the link to the 7 day anonymous Gamefront upload: http://www.gamefront.com/files/service/thankyou?id=20870639 They are in OBJ and came exported with some other weird file type alongside. If these files of 8472 are around perfect
Federation 8472 relations following "In The Flesh" were 0 at worst. But it was considered by the writers to be diplomatic talks and the start of peace, which is a likely +1. The fact that Species 8472 later coordinates attacks with the Federation and Dominion against the Borg in the Gamma Quadrant can only point to improved relations. In the grand scheme of this Mod, I'd say that point to +2. I forget which episode, because I've literally watched thousands, but they were definitely co
All the files are in an Armada specific image file called SOD. We will need Zombie's help. Here is the 7 day anonymous upload to filefront. http://www.gamefront.com/files/20867328/SOD.zip I also have all their music, voice overs, ect. Just focus on getting help with converting those.
why the crap did you make 8472 like the Borg? That relationships mutually pure in hate, and will end in one of two things: never ending war, or obliteration one of the two.
A Scout for each race consolidated and produced for each empire is a good start. Let us go through this process. First let's identify each scout. Let us discover how we can find models, convert/import, and if this isn't available, create. Let's understand that each scout from each Empire is entitled to it's own personal flavor. The vasari can phase out and turn neutral asteroids. The Advent can linger after death. The TEC can infiltrate a planet for a period of

back when I modded, I would start over when I got that many errors, lol. Eventually I discovered one little thing can bring up so many errors... you're attention to detail will quickly improve, lol.
The romulan's aren't good willed, but they aren't really evil, either. You're right, they're a lot like the Romulans, but I'd say 8472 is more good... They are only similar in how violent they can get when they feel threatened. Please go to the relationships for SotC thread before commenting here about 8472 disposition. I think it is well established in Trek Lore than 8472 are a civilization that can only be a great ally to the Federation. For you to say that t
I'm gonna go eat lunch. while you're all asleep and Im still wide awake (in the middle of my day), I'll look around for a way to get ahold of 8472 Models from Armada II. Steer clear of the other race's models in here, though. We can only be using Armada II for 8472 because that's the only game that has gone so in depth with them. But I recommend staying to true Star Trek canon with respect to 8472 relationship and disposition. They are good willed, psionic, b
myfist0, upon learning of the variety of species 8472 ships, I hereby declare you must include Species 8472 into your arsenal for your SotC mod. Things to know: Species 8472 will not have the same numbers of ships or structures as the Vanilla Sins races. They don't even have the same number of ships as their Armada II Counter parts. They aren't underdeveloped in Armada II; they simply don't have that many various ships. In armada II, they possess about 75% the amou
I am already a very well versed advanced modder for Sins of a Solar Empire. I had all the assets available once for making an EVE Online mod for Soase. I quit when I realized I was going to join the Navy, which I currently work for in Japan. If there is any advise I would give you, it is probably the advise any game designer from any game with a variety of classes, or races, etc, would tell you. Don't pay too much attention to minute detail when it comes to
As far as 8472 goes, there is plenty of Apocraphy in Star Trek Armada II. Much of it is a straight reflection of Canon. I've just pretty much never seen their Bomber, Behemoth and Cruiser from the Show. I'll link. It is my opinion that the Borg should have a special form of relationship, love. The Borg love to bring you into their collective. They don't really hate, like Dalek. None the less, their love is going to be a standing of -3. :)
