how close are the spes. of your laptop to what sins requires? ok it probably has no effect but its good to have all bases coverd, try thinknig about it logically to find where the error occured. looking at those would be a start though...

well it looks like the only one thats going to be big on competitive play is starcraft2. maybe thats a good one for me as im going to live in korea in a year or so, as they are big on the origional, though this game would have been nice as it actually requires thought and skill other than the same build order every game. Perhaps when ironclad become popular (if that happens) then we will see some tournaments requiring a brain but until then I dont see much hope, i guess its back to the quick fix

I dont understand what all the fuss is about in here really. Just join a game set up for ffa at the start with unlocked teams. For example in an 8 player map with 2 stars, ask in chat who is in the same star as you and ally with them. Its the best option we have until this is "fixed".

Does any one know some one who hosts, or will be hosting sanctioned tournaments for SINS? ive been looking around for some good games to get into heavilly for tournament play and this one could be interesting... yes I know about the clan-v-clan thing in this forum but that strikes me as a very casual option, is there anything more serious available?

Hi all i have been reading through the posts here and mostly the community seems mature so hopefully the words "discussion" wont start a flame thread. What I wanted to do is ask all you tech players how you command your fleet, particulary at the start of the game. Now im still a "newb" and have made mistakes but learnt from them pretty fast as those are obvious, but for the moment my strategy usually consists of ignoring heavy-research early on. I went into ironclad online section in the game after updating all updates. Having created an account smoothly with no problems i logged in and looked to get some games going but there was a problem, after logging in the only thing that appears is an empty "players" box and 3 commands "add player" "remove player" "use player".... where is the lobby of games and the things to host because thats all im getting?
