they most likely are planning on makeing a full blown expansion (like assault or conquest) or just making a new sins (i dont see the point though unless they want to use a new engine to make more things possible [like windows 7 to vista])

the only problem is that they wont actually follow the ships (chase them) i'd have to micro that and as soon as i click to attack they stop moving letting the enemy get away, i guess i want them to follow the enemy when they start to move and keep attacking while in chase (idk maybe im not being clear) i am considering this but im not sure if i want my fleets flying around like they're on crack (lol maybe i'll just put it on the frigs)
Hi, I'm sure this has been done but couldnt find a post saying how. I'm looking to make ships fire while they move, specificly, while chasing fleeing fleets since the way it is now isnt so great and fleets often get away. thanks in advance.
triple posting mate, us ethe edit button. as for the error it looks like you have a different version than what is compatible, what version of sins do u have? also is it installed into the default directory as if not that may be where the problem is comig from.

ya, or share tech&research with them and give them cap ships by letting them build them in your orbital docks. it would sort of turn them into a mercinary force, giving you that extra kick you need to cap the extra well defended planet.
for the most part its probable, however a few things may be possible such as trading and cease fires. but i doubt anything major will still apply if teams are locked (which would be to keep players from teaming up through diplomacy)
your all wrong, sorry. flagship status is given to any cap ship that is the main ship in a fleet, to say, if you have a fleet of caps only one can be a flagship regardless or rank. the reason the ai have more than one is because they use cap ships as a flag while forming a fleet of smaller ships around it to compose a fleet which would ressemble what you might see in real life i.e. a carrier flag with battleship, cruiser, and destroyer escort.
after 1 i say go strate to 3 and dont waste time with 2, as it will be inefficient and slow in effect a waste of time when considering 3.
BrotherShepherd makes a good point though, we live in an age when anyone can track you with a little time spent on google. i can also see the point of 'we rely on technology too much' cause we do everything is done online or through email. its hard to find phone numbers
having experience, it doesnt matter my mod lets you build 4-6 sb per planet and 8 per star, each is fully upgradeable and i can build as many sc as i wish. i didnt mod any files for fighter cap though i dont know why it would limit you to only 14 for 1 base.

i think if more companies let you beta test as long as you preorder they would make more money, if they just started making games to the quality of sins that be an improvement.
on that premice all game makers should up teh sever slots then and have games like battlefield with 100 server slot on both sides. if ppl wnat to get into a game that bad they can always start one.
well i dont think they need an expansion for that, it seems like it could be done through a patch. and what was #3? anyway with anyluck we'll see moving turrets, since the nextgen gfx cards are coming soon (with ati's out/ close to release) most ppl shouldnt have a problem with moving turrets.

idk for sure but it looks like a percentage (usually point XX is a percent multi for something) but idk what its for wheather it depend on credits(bounty) or # of hostile ships etc.
