if they do go the sins 2 route it'd be nice if loyal sinners got the game at 1/2 price or something (like u bought the game and both ex packs b4 a certain date). just some wishful thinking, and there better be a new capship, i'm getting tired of the same ol tired ships.
though in that regard why not just have them use drones since they are robots (more or less) anyway. do you mean use drones in the sense of the weapon Drones? or like unmanned drone craft? either way, i dont think the Asurans would use simple machines (insofar as a semi-sentient craft) to do their bidding as they think of themselves as the 'children' of the ancients, and so they try to emulate their par

your still talking about making the game only playable on a NSA quantum computer with 80 way sli ([e digicons][/e] ), just be happy that the game chugs along with 10 player maps, or share that wealth you have so we can build computers like urs [e digicons]:P[/e]

i love ppl like this, its so hard to imagine a game that doesnt have at least one person who wnats to make it realistic. im one of these ppl, and i personally hate how ships tend to slam into each other. ok, now get back to topic [e digicons]O:)[/e]
There is never a reason to smurf. Never ever never ever.
what if you want to use a gamer name u have in another game like battlefield 2142/2 or any other of the infinite games out there. what agrivates me is that ppl who play multi in this game are too picky when it comes to the ppl they play with. i tryed to join a round and got kicked cause i was 'smurfing' despite that i was only using a name i use in another game a

i think alot of it is also for some sort of story, more than the intros anyway. like you start the campaign when all this first started then progress to the present day. a campaign would be nice if they could make it 'never ending' as in with each new patch they release a new 'mission' for the campaign so something like that. that way you get a little more of the story and game improvments at the same time, well i think its a good idea but it might not be worth it to enough ppl to matter (im

OH i see, well that makes more sense. hmmmmm, i think a better way is to force player b to pick a side for the conflict along with picking on he's land or not that would make it interesting.

the problem with this is that it would defeat the point of the game which is to force the other side to die by controlling the map. if you could choose to have you planets to be non attackable how could the other side win? unless im missing something[e digicons]:maybe:[/e]
Shared control was the standard mechanism for resolving leaving players in Warcraft III, and it worked very well.
i've never play that so i wouldnt know. as for berics comment, yes but they also have to do twice the work, calculate twice teh moves, manage twice teh stuff (see were im going with this?) its all great in theory but much finer detail would be needed to ensure balance/fairness remains
