I saw a working model of a babylon 5 ship (with a rotating centre piece, totally awesome) and it said it had 40 gun points on it. I'm not a trek-ee but I do remember reading that everyone is well into their 100's or something, but modern medicine keeps them all looking young. So we can't change the start of climb? So at ie 0 - 30 dps mitigation doesn't change. At 31 dps it jumps to 40% and climbs at the normal rate until 75% mitigation (hypothetical, I'd have to find the right numbers later).

OK, continuing on. I thought of changing the deceleration of all ships in the game so they continually move in battle. Turns out there are a few people who have done this. Anyone know how well this works? Does it affect gameplay? How is it done? I was also wondering, is it possible to eliminate phase lanes? I'd like to create a mod where ships can jump to any place on the map, preferably only those that have nothing in between them. So if they run into a star's

I thought about changing the deceleration rates to make the battles "moving" but had no idea how! Does the AI do alright with it? I imagined telling ships to go somehwere and they would constantly travel in circles trying to get there and never stopping. How bad do they bump into each other? Is it constant? Is it aesthetic only or does it change gameplay significantly? EDIT Blair mensioned that everyone wants moving frigates. What about

I was looking in the forums for info on this but couldn't find any. What is the basic idea of this mod? If the lore interests me I'd be glad to desing some stuff for you. Depends how good of drawings you'd like though, as I'm only mediocre at drawing, but should be able to design some stuff that could be replicated in 3D modeling.
