I personally get Desert Planets with great big oil slicks at the poles. Looks like some kind of ecological disaster, or like they've removed the sand or something (somehow). I like it personally.
If for whatever reason you wanted to get rid of that Oatesy, and Stants texture fixes dont work (they didnt for me) simply delete the mesh file for the Desert planets in the DS folder. It removes the black boxes

I figured the Xin wouldn't be overpowered as a race, but one on one with comparable ship classes a Xin ship would always win. Still nice to see that you're making efforts not to break them too hard though [e digicons][/e] Once this gets ported to (or released for) Rebellion, Sins will have become everything I wished it was at release.

I love how much more tactical that gameplay was as compared to stock Sins and a good chunk of other mods. Also, Space Commies fighting Space Nazis, with Space Murrica coming in to 'save the day' later? Oh hell, yeah, I'm keeping an eye on this. Good show, Swiss Knight.

Sins doesn't have turret animations. Your Mobile Suits will be glorified man shaped fighters or frigates. Sins really isn't the right platform for this, at all, but if you're in desperate need of a UC Gundam strategy game theres an excellent mod for Homeworld 2 that does just that.

Aight, just played around for a bit. Only with the Vasari so far, and I've only used the Hellion in a few fights, but I'm going to be busy for most of tonight and tomorrow, so I figured I'd drop my little bit of feedback now. First - I like the direction here. At first, I was a tad worried about the Flagships coming along that late in the game, but the Hellion, at least, started with stats that were more than capable of keeping pace with enemy
It does, doesn't it.... I think I'll keep this design for a future race I may make one day. I want to keep that big "brain" part on the back, I just have to find a way to build the ship around it. And thanks Stant123
You should. It's a damn good model as kitbashes go, and, again, you get a good texture on that thing and you can do whatever y

That thing looks Lovecraftian. Shit you not, that was my response when I first saw it. In that sense, it's great. With a proper texture it could make a terrifying Alien vessel, and I could even see it fitting in with Mansh00ter's old Xin models. That said, I'm REALLY not getting any Advent vibes off this thing. If I couldn't pick out individual ship models, I would ask if you were creating a new race. It, like some of your other models, just looks like t

Regarding the model posted above, I prefer the current model. Looks more swooping and Angelic, which is what I figure was the point. And the prospect of this new Flagship related content excites me. I just worry that they'll be too easy to replace once lost.
@ - Oatesy03/all others - Advent model stays as is.
Good. I'm rather attached to it now. So are you going to release a standalone update for Flagships once the Hellion become available, or are you going to wait until the next release of the mod proper?

Yeah, definitely digging the Hellion, or whatever its called now. Looks beautiful in game. Regarding NHD-151's post, I can kind of see where he's coming from, but I don't believe making the wings slope downward would make it look better in the slightest. In fact, that sounds downright hideous and would make the model look massively out of place, IMO anyway. Now, if you were to simply eliminate the downward curve on the n
