Maybe if there anti-anitmatter abilites had the same range as repulse, throwing a couple of light frigates in there would actually HELP against somethign that strong, whether it be disabling it for a brief time (kobalts) stealing their am and giving it to your ships(disciples) or making it cost additional AM and increasing the cooldo

Last time they changed the lumms the damage was somethign like 66% in the front and 33% in the sides. You do the math.
This is a copy/paste from the 1.1 change log where illums were nerfed. Illuminator Vessel: Frontal bank damage reduced from 58.5 to 53.5. Side bank damage reduced from 30.3 to 27

Penalizing spam is 1: a cheap and crappy fix to a probably unbalanced game. 2: too controlling (less power to the player)
I am sorry but this sounds stupid. The fact that someone can spam one unit to the exclusion of others means that something is wrong with balance. Spamming gives LESS contr

I posted exhaustively when people were screaming that carriers were OP that they were not and could be dealt with. Carriers were fine but some people did not want to learn how to deal with them effectively. Nerfing them harder is certainly not going to make things better. I am neither here nor there about subverters. It would be nice if domina subjugators were improved a bit to help deal with subverters. As of now no one hardly builds them. It wasn't really

I was trying to make a point, Top Vasari. I don't think that they should have their neutral grabbing scouts taken from them annoying as they may be because I think that would be unbalancing in other ways. I was stating that JJ is asking for a relative buff to vasari because he didn't ask for any changes to them which he plays a lot. Nerfing illums is not the answer. Un-gimping fighters/carriers is more in line to be the answer. That provides a balance t

I haven't looked at the replay but shouldn't it be considered that vasari will produce more assailants than the advent can get illums anyways? They should have more income with resources and neutrals. The advent have to depend on the mothership discount in order to have much of an economy. That money has to be spent up front to get the discount and not like tec and vasari as they need it. It hurts the advent war machine up front to take advantage of discounts for later
My first suggestion to Devs is either to fix the problems all at once or not at all. Adjusting one with the rest would nerf a single race too much. # 3 Again a user using lrms to take out guardians with repulse and fleet will lose many many ships just to take out 1 guardians. Advent will lose 1 guardian while the other user will lose like 10-15 lrms or even more in
Advents do not have weak HC. The reason no one builds them is because lums are better, even in late games. With repulse there is no reason to build hc, plus the user would need to upgrade another type of weapon tech. Using lrms to kill a gurdian using repulse with a fleet of lums protecting it is not cost effective. Again due to the lums out powering any other lrms, you will lose too many units

As to #1, I think carriers were nerfed too hard as well. Flak don't need nerfed again or they will lose what usefullness they picked up with 1.02. As to #2, Marza needs some limiting factor. That it can do so much damage is imbalanced and out of line with every other cap ability. Whether it needs to do less damage, less range/narrowed area of effect, target cap, or more disablers is yet to be seen. As to #3, the counter to guardians is mainly lrf and strike cr

Entrenchment. Carriers were nerfed too hard as has been mentioned above. Half a dozen flak can quickly clear out large numbers of fighters in a short amount of time and they stay dead because the rebuild rate is so bad. There is little reason to build fighters except to kill bombers after any enemy has half a dozen flak or more. Starfish are indeed not worth the cost because they are too fragile and are only worth it if you have a cluster of structures not defended b

As I said before, I meant no offense to it. It is nothing against quar, hikk or yourself. There is nothing wrong with tier 2(after all apparently I am). I am making a comment about the list in general. It is biased by its subjective nature including comments about me. I have never said that [_] is better. We lose more than we win admittedly against DT. I have said in game on several occasions that DT is on average a bit better than we a

DT players are not all equally good. Some are better than others just like there are some [_] better than others. All the DT players I know are good players and worthy of respecting their ability in the game. The tag doesn't automatically make them the best of the best. It is biased because prior to their joining DT they were not tier 1 but magically once they joined they are the best and moved to tier 1. There have been suggestions for lots of people to be moved

I find it amusing that people are back to griping about LRMs. People talked like carriers were so OP like it was ruined the game when they could be countered even then. Now its "bring my stronger carriers/fighters back!". I agree that the build penalty was too much. Flak needed the help though because previously it was useless. There is always gonna be something not to everyone's liking. LRMs are the hard counter to light frigates. If you buff or nerf

Quar, Star Player and Hikkelo moved to tier 1 as soon as they joined DT. I agree that they are good players but it does make it look more than a little biased. I would say tier 2 as well(no offense intended). Maybe they have stepped up their game lately though but at the time they joined they were tier 2 players. [_]-Greyfox

KFC and STI are some already clanned people goofing off. I am guessing this new clan is made up of smurfs of various people. I played some of them a bit ago and was not too impressed. Me, Mhiggy, and a couple of lesser experienced players spanked them in a 4v4. If they want to play [_] then bring it on. [_]-Greyfox

There are only 2 active clans so everyone knows who you are talking about. I'm sorry you had this experience. Some aren't as polite or thoughtful as to say anything before they kick you admittedly. I also admit that were you in DT or [_] then its highly likely you would be one they would clear a spot for. If they knew you decently well then it is also likely they would clear a spot for you. It is unfortunate that this does happen quite a bit. Azrak pretty much summed up the reasoning behind it. A lot of times it is better to have someone you can at least depend on a bit to feed or not run off at the smallest setback. In skilled games it hurts a lot to have an unknown run off when the game is still winnable. A lot of times they don't even say anything before they quit. Generally I don't like it when they kick people that have been waiting longer than

Guardians are harder to kill because they are meant to be damage sponges per their main ability. Considering they have a thin hull underneath the huge amount of shields, kanrak and strike craft from vasari make short work of them as I repeat.....they outrange the push. TEC have a little more trouble admittedly but javelis outranges everything and easily outranges the push. TEC hate it because they dont get to use their tough kodiaks and hoshis which are the center of their f
