hopefully it will get a sticky stamp... I have never figured that darn map generator out till now!

I like the new Badass Pirates. I do think they are bugged on the upper end of scale. Their strength should scale with the bounty or the level of researched fleet capacity... something like that. They should not be tied to time. The pirates should be able to take on a medium fleet, or an unguarded starbase... but not a full fleet or starbase with a defending fleet. Bounty FTW!
I like the vintage style of painting you do... reminds me of my style ;) Just an artist note... I think the Advent crest should have had a little more ornamental work done on it. It looks a little bland. Maybe a blue or gold lined crest over the tops of the flair? And the Vasari, I LOVE! Good work my fellow artist [e digicons][/e]
A very nice guide, thanks! [e digicons]k5[/e]
Links and post has been updated, the truth is coming to light for the world to see what america is truly sorry for... its own stupidity. May we all learn how to educate ourselves and not just absorb the ramblings of "educators" Thoughts on these new articles?
How much is too much? I read Obama's budget proposal today, and he will put our debt to %59 of the NATIONS GDP!!! That is over half the gross domestic product of the nation owed to debts. That would be bankruptcy for any business. This "president" will only survive one term (if he survives at all) and the democrats that support him are all ready being replaced in polls and elections (Kennedy ring a bell?) And Obama knows the na
The problem is that they try to get it taught in our public schools. What? It's not like it would clash with all the horseshit we teach regarding history. The entire subject from kindergarten to college is utter bollocks. Since we've doomed ourselves into repeating history, over and over and over, we might as well apply the same standards to science. Anything someone makes up should be include
I could see it being viable in the graphics world. If it has a touch sensative screen that would be on par with a standard tablet, it could work. I love me my pen tool! [e digicons][/e] However, it will need to have the power to run the graphical apps, and I dont see that happening on this scale for another 5 years. Maybe if it can wirelessly interface with your work, home, entertainment computers... So yeah, just another
And the religious argument is a valid one. People who blindly believe in anything are not even following what the scientific method says to do!More so for you than for me. At least I have the scientific consensus to fall back on , what do you have? You have people like Watts whose only claim to expertise is that he was a TV weatherman who may or may not have graduated from
It is quite humorous, isn't it anteachtaire? Has anyone even answered my question of how can we not predict the weather for 2 weeks into the future, and yet we are so sure that the world will end it it goes up or down a degree? Science is not religion... nor is it able to predict the future. It can only take and prove or disprove a theory, at that point in time. Humans need to stop trying to play God.
In any case the shift to nuclear is inevitable. Solar and wind are cute but have no chance of ever being a realistic supply of energy. Better to anticipate the need and get there a bit sooner rather than later.
Wow Mumble, something we agree on... So how come the greenies don't want to have more nuclear plants? what is their real aim....
Well, I guess I should have babysat this thread a little more... Sorry Frogboy for the offense, and sorry to all the rest of you for not keeping a closer eye on it. I did NOT want this thing to delve into the global warming farce... I wanted to bring to light that Science is very rapidly loosing credibility. When politics are allowed to influence the outcome of theories, Science has turned into a new religion. This article illustrates best what I was looki
keep it on topic folks.... I still see this as getting very close to loosing objective science as we know it. (maybe it is already lost [e digicons]:([/e] )
Never. There is enough negative destructiveness in office already... no offense [e digicons];)[/e]
Quoting Vandenburg, reply 126 It's a thread about a complicated subject in the internet. What else should happen with it? If it is indeed complex, why are laypeople so certain that their stance is the objective reality?
This is partialy my point.... Science is about the discovery of truth, and I find that this politicization of science has gr
Sorry to make you do all the work Mumble... I do like to find out what data people are looking at, and this seems to be the only way. Thanks for it. I still would like to pose the question of why we can't get an accurate weather forecast for 2 weeks in the future, but we somehow know all there is to know about the world weather and future of it. Kind of a blinding flash of the obvious moment...
just a note.... I will update the list every couple days with votes and new ideas. Those who have already voted can simply cast their votes with the remaining #'s. Keep em comin!
Too bad your source and your bullshit don't agree.
I couldn't have said it better myself... to you. [e digicons] Look here. http://icecap.us/images/uploads/global_warming_nz_pdf.pdf Look at this biased graph. Then compare it to the raw data graph. It shows that the vast majority of the past temps were REDUCED to show a warming trend. The raw data s
