I suspect you are using a mod, am I right? In a previous (not the latest) version of Enhanced 4X mod (which changed the Advent Superweapon effect) upon impact the game minidumped. If this is the case just download the newer version found online. If not, I have no idea what can be wrong, others may help you out.

You are making huge mistakes in the beginning, I am pretty sure too. Easy AI can never get heavy cruisers in 10 seconds, and you don't mention to build your own FREE capital ship. Your first capital ship is free, and helps much. Easy AI does not get the research cheat harder AI gets, and it needs 5 military labs for heavy cruisers, and a research, he can get it harder than you, and I am serious about it. You are asking things that would turn the game extremely unbalanced. If everything affected everything it would ruin many things. I agree with that TEC and Advent needs more things to weaken enemy Titans, but this is exaggeration. Try killing an Orkulus, even with 1/10th of fleet the Vasari human player will kill you if you don't have crazy amounts of bombers, and Vasari fleet is composed of 2-3 ships like kanrak and corvettes, but this is ridiculous you need to be extremely overw

Yes, it is great problem that Vasari can easily survive with minimal fleet, it can easily destroy many times larger fleets without any result from the enemy, the early Orkulus is far more stronger than anything else that the other two races can build. Some say don't let Vasari get to late game, and I just LOL, one Orkulus and a phase jump inhibitor is far more than enough with a supporting fleet to kill uncountable numbers of your ships while having minimal losses on the Vasari front. I am Hungarian, and I have the highest degree (but not native speaker) in English, the problem is I got it many years ago and I cannot use it very often, mainly online.
If you built all capital ships possible online that is a huge mistake beginners make, even a moderate player will know you have nothing against bombers that counter capitalships hard. Online never build that much capital hips, 1-2 is enough if you can keep them alive, they will never level up if you have 10 of them, and are weaker than the same fleet capacity used by frigates (a level1 capitalship is no match for 5 heavy cruisers, it is the most simple example, only on higher levels they get
Sins of a Solar Empire is unfortunately not about nice things, as you can say from the number of planet types, and the planet textures. Only mods add depth in these fields. Ships and ETC are nice, but many things lack variety.
I think cease fire does not mean you are allies.. But maybe I am wrong, but I think you will need peace treaty to be called allies officially, although I haven't tested anything about it, just thinking of the theory. It would be strange to be allies after a cease fire, doesn't sound logical to me, but this game sometimes doesn't care about logics I know..

I think premade maps have identical planets, maybe the amount of resources are not the same, so I think a custom made mirrored map would be the fairest for those who want to play in this competition with identical number and ratio of crystal and metal asteroids, to be the fairest and not to give anyone a real starting advantage, even competitive maps are random in the middle of the map, and can be a huge difference if two same level skilled person plays against each other.
