You are aware that if that strategy was to be used, the other player would've scouted or atleast caught on. Using the others lack of expansion to expand rapidly. And if he's only got 2 worlds, with only one of which would produce a decent wail.. (hw) hes not really in a great position. Same story if he does send he prog forward, he needs to let the planet he plans to wail off of to get the required amount of populace to do sizable damage to

Vasari is also good, their bombers have phase missiles that bypass shield, dealing brutal damage, as they have a chance to laugh at shield mitigation, increasing their raw damage brutally, like 100% more damage or so. And starbases have shields, so maybe Vasari bombers are even better than Advent, haven't tried it yet.

It is really powerful without the frigate damaging function, as it lets Vasari players to attack any planet in the galaxy, and your enemy will never be able to defend it, VL can even destroy the planet without taking losses himself. I won't complain about the frigate damaging function's disappearing as it is a really small thing compared to the insta-phasenode and the structure-disable, Vasari is brutally strong even without their superweapons harming frigates, devs should never make

It would be nice to give diplomacy a reason to pursue, I played almost 100 games online now, and I haven't ever seen a human-controlled envoy, only replacement ai's build it.. It should come at a reasonable price and with a balanced outcome, and I like your idea about the crossovers, because that is what diplomacy is supposed to be for, but this game is not the game of high values and big changes, and racial diversity is poor even with the new faction system of Rebellion.. I don't think I will actually sign up for this as my very random playtimes, BUT I have to mention a thing. Match outcomes can really be influenced by bad maps, even competitive maps act like a teenage girl sometimes, and turn out to be even worse than a normal random map.. Last time I played a 1v1 against someone close to my skill, but because of his starting position I could easily defeat him like he was a really lower skill player and he stood no chance.. So be ca

I aint playin against stuff that are so hard to counter (or cannot be at all), and the other factions have nothing even near that strong.. (like my favourite one TR, and AR, but I understand wail is OP the way it is now), and even a much worse player than me can easily defeat me if I make one wrong move even with a 3 times larger fleet. So I am happy to have this new rule :D
Thanks, I was waiting to see how long it would take for somebody to say this, but it seems the community now adays would rather just prevent people from using game content instead of microing, because seriously, who micros in an RTS, amirite?
One problem almost solved, but the Vasari player is still likely to have a strong supporting fleet around the Vorastra, so even if he has to retreat the Titan can

You are asking way too much I think, Ai is seriously messed up in this game, maybe the sequel game (if there will be Sins 2..) will have much better ai players, until that I don't think anything will be changed in this field.

1. I never change those values as I always forget to change them back, but should be useful in not letting your ships stray too far if there is a starbase nearby. For me it needs too much attention that's why I don't use it. 2. People really like to focus on capital ships, I would say it is a good idea, but maybe you should try both ways and see wich turns out better. Getting rid of the main damage source can be good, but meanwhile your fleet may be hurt so badl

It was rude of Champ to pause the game unless it was an absolute emergency, and if you don't say why you are using pause I have to say it is entirely his fault. No one wants to sit there for no reason because someone else maybe has an issue.
<

Missions are ruined in this version of rebellion, and they are worth nothing compared to original sinns, as their effect on relationships are SOOOOOOO SMALL.. Only worth doing them for the money. I still think the current system is far better as before your ally often would ask im
So basically, you were able to beat it because it was alone....and, how many skilled players use only a titan and nothing else?
Yes, this is the problem, even against a single ship you need a whole fleet to beat it, and still brutal losses. Not to mention what happens when there is a fleet next to it, and it is likely to happen if the vasari player feels his titan is threatened by the smallest chance, an

Good idea but I think devs would have to change so many things for this.. so it is not likely to happen before Sins 2.. Think about this, adding new planets is impossible in a new patch (Yarlen told me in another thread), so would THIS be possible? I think not :/ It would need another expansion, not a patch I guess.
