I have to agree with you 100% here. Ive always wondered why IC and SD didnt expand the website more and allow for more community input and activities outside of the forums.
I think he meant a free weekend from being busy. not that SINs would be free. Did you read the OP? he put Noob in it............obviously it was like dumping blood in shark infested waters............It didnt accomplish what it was supposed to...........draw in noobies and ward off smurfs and experienced players. Putting Newbie or New players only isnt cutting it. This isnt paying any dues....this isnt a Frat house. This is a video game...........who the hell sees smurfs as apart of p
I agree with SnowBoard if people cant appreciate the privilage of creating different names on one account with their account info being withheld. It should be taken away. I understand not everyone online is a smurf. But if they dont smurf then they wont have an issue with having a tag on their names that reveals the Account holders info.
thats exactly why when i place four SBs at my star or the AI's Star atleast one of those has 1 Weapon upgrade/3 hull upgrades/ Docking Boons and Trade port this way even on the front line Im drawing in income.
Also if it was a race that was similar to the Advent.........the Vasari would surely recognize the similiarities and get the hell out of dodge soon as the Advent shown up. But it is plausible that the Vasari started messing with Psitech and their minds couldnt take it......and drove those exposed to it mad.
more then plausible is just saying it has just as much a chance of it being the actual word as network.........wasnt saying it was MORE likely then the others.
coldhearted doesnt mean emotionless, it means it has no sympathy for anyone outside of themselves. I cant say theyd have feelings cause I cant imagine a program having REAL emotions but maybe simulated emotions. These things would be calculating and converting everything to one side isnt the way I see it. I see it as collecting the resources (like the Vasari do) and recycling it to build their OWN ships....that is a very useful strategy as it would keep them from having to eat into thei
USS might not have Navy in it but IJN as mentioned earlier does. Which proves its more then plausible that thats the meaning.
I love it when everything lights up red on a screen when i use MB, sends shivers up my spine.
most of its been answered but if you encounter a star with four sb's and a enemy fleet. keep your fleet in the areas that the sb's cant cover with their canopy.. As said before engage the SB's with Bombers and make sure you have plenty of healer units and anti SC units as your SC will be tied up with the SB and your opponents will be on you like white on rice. Unless its Vasari SB's you can totally ignore the battle with the SB and your SC while you micro the battle between your fl
what composition have you found to be particularly useful all around? I dont know why but two Medium to Big Fleet size usually works out best for me. 3 Kols, 2 Dunovs, 2 Marza, 1 Akkan, 27 Garda, 20 LRF's, 20 HC's, 20 Percheron, 20 Hoshikos, and 5-10 Scouts Usually when I get into long drawn out games Ill build twin fleets only changing up the Marzas and Akkan, making it 2 Sova's and 1 Marza. Alone these Fleets usually hold up extremely well against larger fleets unless heavil
My experience is the more Caps you have (a good mix of them as well) in a single fleet with a very good mix of support units the more likely your caps will walk away from the fight in one piece. Im not too sure about the other two factions but when I face off against TEC I always hit their Caps first to take their biggest bonus's out and then hit their Command units. This deteriates its ability to focus on particular units and youll find they quickly target wildly sometimes no
Actually if hes supporting a fleet that big his economy is stronger. The creds are just being "invested" in the fleet. Im willing to bet at this point in the game his creds/metal/crystal is in the six digit figures and even if he lost his entire fleet he could easily rebuild it before his opponent could take down two of his GW's.
you should have plenty of time between starting the game and the first raid on your planets to build up some kindof fleet response and by the second one to have a fully operation defense hangerbays/repairbays/mines/turrets eventually building a starbase along your fringe worlds if you decide you want to...I usually dont do that unless Im under heavy pressure from my enemy and have a hard time keeping them out of my GW's
I think theres plenty of appeal its a perfect explaination to what happened at Kron....and while its been done a Million times in SciFi what hasnt??
Im still sticking with Trader........as its pretty obvious every human nation in recent history has used an abreviation of some sort with their countries name in it or hinting at what nation it is. USS, HMS, RFN, and HCMS all of those you can tell easily what they mean but HMCMS is probably the hardest...but ill spell it out for you His Most Christian Majesty's Ship (France) They also are known as FHS or HFIMS (His French Imperial Majesty Ship) And being that Trader was used in
And thats what I was responding to..........in the first place...trying to go the extra mile with the pic and video wasnt needed. And I am calm.......Im just not gonna sit back and someone try to twist what I was saying so they can be an ass.
i actually had SB's without Trade upgrades on either side of a wormhole and they still passed through to reach a particular tradeport on the other side of the system faster.
I wasnt trying to argue what SINs would be like, just making note that in a real world things would be much different then the gameplay. I agree the Navy would be on the frontlines and the most called on as it would be needed to not only transport all other branches world to world..........but also its the true first line of defense from any threat. If the Navy falls surely the other branches wouldnt have a chance at surviving any true onslaught. And the Navy itself would be massiv
I think the AI just uses the shortest direction to their destination, unfortunately it cant differentiate between friendly space and hostile space. If the wormhole is the most direct route itll take it.........if it isnt itll go around it.
i think the OP didnt explain himself well but i got the idea and agree. people are arrogant. and they want to think their every action is going to be either gods gift to the world or the ending decision for something. these are the same people that dont believe in consuming animals for food.....................which is an ass backwards idea. according to science plants are as much ALIVE as animals or you and me are. so its ok to kill one lifeform for you to continue living but not another?? b
Have any of you been in a military vehicle? i bet not. And that Star with the stripes is a military logo I was talking about a Company logo. As for the video.................no shit their made by the private sector but climb in a M1 Abrams or Stryker and your not gonna find the companies logos plastered everywheres those are videos that are made by the companies to sell themselves to the government not a video made by the MILITARY. Their plain. nice attempt to prove me wrong but you came up s
You also have to consider if you get hit and take heavy loses. You cant just make a move assuming you would be triumphant. You need to wiegh your options and decide which one takes less risk OR pays out more for your heavy risk. Its my belief that if your enemy is cut off by a chokepoint held by a third party. Its in your favor and HIS to take that chokepoint not just neutralize that third parties ability to defend itself. He may have less planets, But that doesnt mean his Units are less leth
Also its not just the Marines that would be the main groundpounders. Marines of today are specialists. They are sent into handle smaller sized issues and use brute force to break the enemy morale. The bulk of any military ground force will be the Army. You think the only troops that island hopped in the Pacific during WW2 were Marines? Then your wrong, go look up the Army's 25th Infantry Division, The Army backed up the Marines and made sure the Operations in the Pacific was so successful. Ma
