For the record, I didn't strip all that much, even pre v1.04. I just found it very short sighted as putting trade ports on the planet will give you better options late game and bring more money.
Yes you didn't strip all that much pre 1.4. But then you didn't play all that much either. And what you did play you were testing other races as well so you didn't have option to strip all that much.
Pupetier
What really bothers me regarding threads like that is that whenever a race that needs a bit of help to be competitive compared to others vasari and gets strong option that actually makes vasari players have to think and not just carrier and sb spamm it gets called bloody murder. This is out of order it shouldn't belong in the game it is OP while in other threads that regard vasari and their very stro

It is counter to red button and it is tested and employed many times aka meaning you cannot use it for a period of time after sb was hit with it. We know subverter can shut down structures so perhaps side effect is to make
Me and slayer were talking.... Potential sounters to vail by sneaking ship in grav well and disabling it subverter marauder radiance detonate am (it does disable red button on tec) dunov .....
Why do you characterize debate as "crying"? Do you say that every time someone engages you in a political debate?
I call it crying because you are solely focused on a races that you do not play and are not willing to find a way to play against. And strategies that are employed by you which could also be called op are just fine. What I think problem is is that vail kind of counters your play style. Have small fleet of low
OK I wish I had reply of game I played yesterday.... but unfortunately i crashed on stat screen so it doesnt work Vail as it is it is very map dependant and if you don't get overlapping high pop planets it is very easy to counter. Is it OP ih high population planets overlap YES is it op if they don't NO. And vail has arming time if you want which inst that fast at all and if you play aggressively it can be reduced to 0 without much
OH WHIP WHIP WHIP Still crying? Vail is ok compared to your SB spamming and eating rush strategies......
Star you and your troling always makes me laugh. This time twin thick glasses tip the point.....

If they made corvettes titan counter we would get another rock paper scissors loop since frig die to titans and corvettes die to frigates,
Are you unpacking them In rebellion folder or do you have them in original sins folders. Rebellion in win 7 is in folder is under C:\Users\{name of user}\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion I'm thinking win XP should be under my documents as well
If files are in right place I'm not sure how you don't see them
Corvettes were actually originally intended as the titan killers--or at least "hurters". Unfortunately the side effects: game lagging and fun destroying Zerg attacks kinda ruined this role for them.
Yes but as they came out b4 1,4 they were good against everything. If they were good only against titans and weak they wouldn't bee spammed as they were in those times
To be honest I was playing with thought that corvettes should be true titan counter. Titans should only be able to attack them with only 1 or 2 weapon type they posses and their AOE abilities shouldn't affect them.
90% of my games is on MP ...... And yes I do set rally points all the time. True rarely on different planet since I tend to build factories on worlds that are border world or 1 phase jump away from where i will be fighting. If i go into fight and constantly bring reinforcements if I would set up rally point on a planet it would mess up what i want ships to do when they come into the gravity well (not necessary travelling in gravity well when i need them in fight. <
Disagree. What if you are doing something on one planet and you want to do something on another one. Instead of getting into planet option you will be setting rally point. Besides Rally points shouldn't be placed on planet itself they should be placed to point in gravity well...
Everyone can unpause game if they know key bindings so there is no need for host to have special privileges regarding pause game and if you give him ultimate pause power (if he pause and no one can unpause) then you come to the point where pause can be abused. I played with some strangers and regular crowd i usually play with and people usually tolerate a few minute pause for toilet break answering doors changing batteries in mouse etc. As long as other players know what the
Even before 1.3 was released they said that update 1.04 will break save games and that 1.4 is scheduled for beginning of August. So you had plenty of warning. So you had a more than a month of notice by delays and including change log which was posted almost full week in advance with notifications when update is going live and that update will break save games ......
