Seriously? Is there no way to mod the game or engine in any way to allow the model to be in the game?? Is there still even someone around here or am I talking to myself here?
Hey everyone, I've made a Starcraft mod for personal use only using the game's models, and with Legacy of the Void coming out I also managed to get my hands on the Spear of Adun. I tried adding it to the mod but it keeps crashing the game. It might have something to do with the fact that it's polycount is 170.513. Though I did manage to make a good mesh file of it and I've never had this before so I'm really not sure. Could someone please help with this? Th
Alright, I looked back and you guys were right. I pinpointed the crash down to a certain modded defensive structure. Now I just need to look at what causes the crash. I only replaced the Tech Hangar model, did nothing about the rest.

I decided to try one of my personal mods again and this time, each time when I have a planet selected and press the button for defensive structures, Sins crashes. Does anyone happen to have a clue as to why it does this? It didn't do this before, so I have no idea why it does so now.
Alright, it seems I tracked the cause of this problem. It was indeed a statcount and roletype problem in the Phasescout. Letting it have its original ones solved it. I do face a new problem now though. It would appear that now the game crashes after one of the modded Phase capital ships gets destroyed. Would anyone happen to have any idea as to how this could be solved or what the cause might be?
Hey everyone, I am making a mod and after changing some things I keep getting a mini-dump after about half a minute when the AI is playing that race. When I play the race everything's fine though. I don't get it. Any advice? Thanks in advance!
Yeah, I guess I could do that, but I hate it how the AI usually spams scouts.
Hey, I'm once again looking into modding Sins and I'm making a mod in which the Phase race is changed and it won't let me remove the scout or the game crashes on testing after about half a minute ingame if the AI is Phase. Is there a fix or way around this? Thanks in advance!
Hey everyone, I'm trying to replace the TEC starbase model with a custom model. I've set everything up like I do with all the other models and though the model appears ingame properly, it will not shoot. I don't see why not. I've only replaced the mesh file and kept the TEC related things the same. I've even run it with the dev.exe and still have no idea. Could someone please take a look at it? http:/

Hey everyone, I'm trying to recreate the following particle: http://gosugamers.net/starcraft2/images/2012/july/tempest.png It doesn't have to look a great deal like it; as long as its round and blue. I've already managed to chance the color of a laser, but this is a little over my head. Can anyone help me with this and tell me how to do this? Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, I'm currently attached to a modding team and one of the ideas is be to have a galactic map but with only three or four planets and have multiple location points on each planet. Could this be done? I know I can replace the planets with everything I'd want (stations, rally points, asteroids etc) but could the planets be added in on a second layer below the layer the original layer Sins uses?
