hehehe @ Mobius! Now here's an interesting question... if I create an image running at 1280x1024 and give it to someone running at 1280x960, will the perspective change? Wouldn't then a circle that looks round to me look somewhat distorted to them?

paxx... that's why I initially went with 1280x960 but then I noticed a lot of themes were created at 1280x1024. TasT... I know Paul (mormegil) runs at 1600x1200 too... you people must be running a 21" monitor. And yes, now that I am at the higher resolution at home, I hate coming to work to this teeny 17" monitor. FoF! Hey, long time no see!

Kevin, First you should know that Litestep is a shell replacement, not an enhancer as NS and DX are. It's more powerful in some ways than either of the others. However, it always requires READING the manual (ya, sure...) or you may get that social life you've heard other people have when your computer won't boot anymore. NextStart and DesktopX are easier to get running with but the choice

I used to run at the ever popular 1024x768. Now that I've moved up in the world and purchased a nice large monitor, I'm working on a Solace in Blue DX theme. However, I have a question... Are more of you using 1280x960 or 1280x1024?

My now ex-wife talked me into buying a computer to run my landscaping business. I bought a $600 Radio Shack Color Computer with a casette drive! Took one look at the book for programming it and said "forget this crap." Three months later I decided to either learn it or sell it. I've been working in the computer field for 15 years now. By the way, I also messed with OS/9 for the color computer which

I started life in Dos then moved to DoubleDos (ya, anyone remember that?) and on to DesqView when I bought a copy of PC-Board and ran a 3 node BBS. DV did me for a while but when WFW came out, I switced my BBS over. I was always into Windows (since it's inception) and my friends had a ball laughing as I typed into "Write" on my screaming 286-8. Then, along came OS/2. I was immediately hooked. I was a member of Team OS/2 for as long as I could hang on... alas, it wasn't meant to be. <im

I grew up in a somewhat rough part of New York and even some of my toughest friends caught "hell" if an adult heard them say something even remotely harsh. Of course we said it when they weren't around but... and now I'm more of a potty mouth then ever. Not around kids though!

I often have this debate with my fiance. As a child, if I had used the word "hell" or "damn", I would have been slapped into the following month. I am a pretty liberal guy in a lot of respects. However, when it comes to children and morals, I'm old fashioned because I was raised that way. I think that anyone under the age of at least 14 that uses anything stronger than "Dang" or "Cooties" needs a good beating. Ok, maybe that's a little too strong. How would you react to a six
