Give the fleet it's in a move bonus. Something like what that raider vasari capital ship does. That would be fitting a flagship with officers coordinating the fleet and stuff.

Nah. I'm mainly a single player gamer and have always been. There's too much grief in multiplayer except LAN play.

Well yes I can "keep playing" but I know that the AI have already surrendered. It's not the same thing. I want it to stubbornly go down clawing and screaming in agony refusing to give up!

Yes and no. In real life there are almost always fleets of specialised ships yes but ships also go on missions alone. When they do they have to have a capability in all areas however small that might be. Carriers have surface to surface missiles and battleships anti air missiles for example. Navies of all times have always had ship types that doesn't specialise and can serve in almost all situations. But navy isn't one of my strong areas so if you want to go into details I&#3

Well there have to be triggers that break the jump dance because when I finally jump my fleet into the gravity well the AI jumps from they stand and fight.

I've always gotten mad at this feature. When I've been playing for many hours against a frustrating AI enemy and finally have it cornered I really really want the pleasure of totally crushing, annihilating and wiping it from the face of the galaxy. But it always take the chicken way out and surrenders. [e digicons]X([/e]

I call it the "Jump dance". Seems to mostly happen when I have a massive fleet in the gravity well it jumps to. Sometimes the AI have five or more capital ships doing the dance one after the other. Also it usually have a big fleet in the gravity well it jumps from and if its whole fleet had jumped at the same time It would have a chance at victory.

I wouldn't say it's broken. To me it feels more like it isn't tweaked yet to handle new things like titans and corvettes. Besides this is a Beta forum. We're encouraged to complain and if it's one thing that gamers are good at it's complaining. Combine this with their weakest personality trait, patience and it's a miracle this forum is so...tidy.

I second what Ceih are saying. It's very annoying when the AI do the "Jump dance" because it's usually just when I have taken a enemy planet with a massive fleet. So I can't continue attacking with that fleet until I have built adequate defences on the planet which take a while. Edit: I've also noticed the other behaviours he mentions.

Greetings. I've been playing the beta for a while and can't really figure out what to do with corvettes as they are now. Yes an early spam with them works great but after that I need to spam a massive amount for them to be effective and that's just boring. So I was thinking why not make them bigger and not as cheap? Something that have bugged me with Sins from the start is that the only ships that feel like ships are the capita
