Why are all the official responses coming from Stardock? I do remember a time when Ironclad would chime in. Is this add-on being done in house at Stardock?
Just curious, who's associated with Ironclad on this forum? (If anyone?) I don't think I've ever seen them.

If you got the confirmation email, there's nothing to worry about. The game isn't out yet (not even the beta) so there's no available Rebellion game to be displayed. Once they release the beta they'll send you an email with instructions (if I recall correctly), and either they'll tell you how to access it or it'll then show up on your available games to install or something.
1. Certainly not. (the devs aren't going to just copy and paste cap or superweapon abilities onto a Titan) 2. Well, they are supposed to have levels of some kind IIRC. I don't know if they'd be like capital ship levels or starbase levels though. 3. Very likely. 4. ? 5. Not sure what the first part of your question is asking, but Titans are certainly going to take a lot of logistics to get them into play. Whether that'd be through fleet supply /
In terms of the cost of leisure, even if you have a pretty poor job that only pays $10/hour, for every hour you play Sins (whatever version) you're essentially giving up on $10. If the cost for Rebellion is $30 currently (for those with Trinity), that's only the equivalent of 3 hours. Just two or three standard 5v5 matches could take longer than that! If you play Sins regularly, the cost for Rebellion (3 hours) is negligible. (Or if you have a higher paying salaried job the cost would

More like "quick way to end a game that was decided long ago" if there are enough resources and time to build a Titan. Probably.
If they can all be selected at once I think that would be enough: then one could just use q + click to activate one of them, and then press tab to go to the next superweapon and q + click fire it as well.

Thats equivalent to voiding 157 of the original 500 DPS. No Joke indeed. Can keep a transcencia alive a LONG time.
Sure. It can be useful... in certain niche situations. But I'm not convinced that would justify its cost in most competitive games.

Hmmmm yeah Ion sounds REALLY OP in that context..... Evac gets the win on this comparison
Gravity Warhead still allows ships to move and orient in preparation for a phase jump, though. If the player who gets gravity bombed has any idea what's going on, then if their fleet or th
It's a somewhat confusing set-up, I know. You have to be logged in to the purchase area with your Impulse account.
In order to do something like this, I would recommend trying to make the Strategies article on Sins of a Solar Empire Wiki into the centerpiece of such an effort, and make the wiki into something more, since before I even showed up their it was so dilapidated and useless. The last major thing that needs to be done on the wiki is to incorporate anything of importance from the old SoaSEWiki articles into the current articles and then delete them. On
You should aim to eventually be playing on Diplomacy. (Diplomacy = Trinity) Still, taking in everything at once can be difficult though, so you might want to start on original Sins. There's absolutely no problem with starting with Trinity/Diplomacy though, but if you do, I highly suggest playing with Locked Teams until you have a sense of what's going on and how to play.
Impulse. When you log in on the right of this page https://www.sinsofasolarempire.com/preorder it should show you the cost as $30 if you use the Impulse account your Diplomacy is on. (if, like me, you use a different account on the forum than you use for your games, you'll have to logoff first **on that preorder page** and then login with your game-registered-account in order to receive the discount.)
You needed to have been logged in to your Diplomacy-registered Impulse account on the web site when you preordered Rebellion in order to receive the discount.
Well, that's kind of the point of Ion Bolt, isn't it? I think it's nice for the Akkan to have at least one pretty useful combat-oriented ability anyway (other than Armistice, which is somewhat difficult to level up for). And Ion Bolt doesn't prevent the enemy from warping out if they're on the edge of the gravity well. All you need to do is to make sure your cap(s) stay on the edge if there's an enemy Akkan and damage-dealing ships.

It made a huge difference in "churn"--the number of new players who came in and then left because the
I'm personally a big fan of old-school strategy games and don't care about graphics in the slightest, which is why I was asking. One of my favorites is Stars! . I also like the Space Empires series.
How much do you care about the graphical quality of the game?
