[quote who="bilun" reply="5" id="3209381"]Some good ideas in here. Another thing I'd like to see is for the TEC loyals to be given *Some* offensive capability- they are the premier defensive faction, but let's face it: you need to attack to win. To keep in flavor I think any such buffs should focus on boosting Border conflicts or mounting counteroffensives on enemies that attack you first. Perhaps something like: Counter Deployment: In addition to cur

So yes, this game is in fact sins of a titan because one titan is so good it is too good. Oh, and sniping it early is almost impossible because overse

For example, if each one of these teams were in the eco spot, this is most likely what they would do: TEC R: Novalith and Titan TEC L: Novalith and Dual SB Advent L: Titan Advent R: Titan and Wail Vasari L: Titan and Strip Vasari R: Mobile SB

I am surprised phase missiles aren't having much of an effect since advent are all about shields. Phase missiles should be doing some major damage. I never had to fight a lvl 10 Eradica so this info is good to know. Edit: Oh man this is what i get for hitting reply before i finish reading the walls of text.<

It is no secret that the TEC Loyalists are quite out of favor on ICQ. What needs to be done to make them a competive choice again? First let me point us the largest general issues at hand: The TEC Loyalists are supposed to be the best defensive faction - however in reality they are not. Wail of the Sacrificed and jump capable starbases are much more useful in 99 % of all defensive situations. Vasari fleet with phase stabilizers make invadin

Trinity was pretty spot on and then for financial reasons the devs thought they could make more money by rolling out an expansion which has actually ruined the game mechanics. I would be playing Trinity if anyone actually played it. As it is, I'm waiting for the 1.4 patch and if that stinks then im uninstalling the game. I'm not even going to bother playing the game in it&

The Distant Star Mod https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/335474/page/307 has a Map called "Ashes of TEC" You start in your own solar system. And there is only one, highly defendable planet that leads away from the star. Only past this planet your planets can be accessed. Best chokepoint map, ever. The Map has multiple star systems, t

The Replay does load - it just takes a very long time until the progress bar is moving. The Replay is however still garbage. A Fix for this would be really really cool.

Imho the temple of communion should be totally replaced with Global Unity for the Advent Loyalists. Reposession, while in theory is very powerful, suffers from several issues: By the time you have a level 6 Coronata you will likely field enough bombing and culture repel power to colonize any wiped out enemy world the normal way, making the Coronata a gloryfied expensive colony ship. The planets looses the entire population and all planet upgrades, costing you money for some time in fact This also makes it highly vuln

I see two main problems. Eradicas ultimate Ragnarov being rebuilt in 3 minutes... making it return quicker to the lines than one often could have repaired it. Now, we just have to make the Eradicas ultimate worthy of that increased cos

[quote who="Volt_Cruelerz" reply="3" id="3203128"]Movement inside a gravity well is a huge advantage because it allows a starbase to fire on its own counters. Combine that with the fact that the Argonev and Trans have uncapped AoE's and you just made the Trans the bar-none most powerful starbase in the game. Nothing will kill it now. The Orky's main problem is a problem with the fact that it can jump when used by the VR because it becomes a second titan. <

The way it is now there is no reason to not suicide run your titan at the start to get it's levels up. If it lost it's levels when killed people would be more protective of their titans and not use them stupidly. Also it sucks when you have an enemy virtualy
