Hehe...I warned you. "Paradise" is a trap (oh the irony)...albeit, a potentially profitable one. And if you were a smart Vasari, you could get out of it.
oh I know, it was very profitable but some of my fleet is stuck there now, im upset :( haha its a cool feature but balance wise its favors the Vasari alot.

Ahhh my fleet is stuck in around Paradise I cant find a way out! Possibly a bug I think it is but there is no wormhole out of paradise.

So far im impressed it opens up different strategies, especially for the Advent because there are so many dead asteroids the mothership is kinda useless.

No I don't have diplomacy :( But im hoping to get trinity and rebellion for christmas! Ooh and as for some other bugs around the same area as Fragments of Faith, is a Plasma Storm called hyperfast. Its so close to the other star that it messes with the system making it difficult to target enemies in there essentially making you blind. Not sure if its intended its kindof a cool bug. But just something I thought I should bring up.

The world Fragments of Faith, will sometimes spawn as a volcanic/ice world for which you don't have the tech or ability to aquire. Also im not sure if you can do this but increase the xp gain on neutrals. Since the game is small leveling up quicker might be nessicary. ---Tips for the game--- 1. Im playing vanilla so im not sure if this is any different for anyone else. Expand outward to any neutral metal/crystal extractors and place your materia

Small problem sometimes after jumping into another system it wont be an asteroid, but an ice or volcanic planet which cant be colonized! Played through it again, finally got the planet fragments of faith to spawn a desert planet(which it should be because of its name *nudge nudge*) but anyways moving on, even though I realized that colonizing the planets earlier was impossible I persisted till I got to the pirate base, just wanted to point out you should try this as it

Well from what I see it, the advent rebels(Not to sure about there philosophy but they think there is a corruption in the unity) or loyalist(They want all to join the unity or be purged) would make good allies with the vasari rebels(Who want to take other factions along with them) as opposed to the vasari loyalist(who want to leave and let the other races deal with the ancient enemy). The TEC loyalist are almost neutral and the TEC rebels are militant and would rather see all other

Just wondering if you can choose the path that the AI will go down because lets just say my empire is part of the rebel faction, and then I want to set my ally as a rebel(because being allies with the loyalist outside of mutual gains is obscene). Would I be able to set what path my ally will go down.

But I firmly believe the Kanrak is the best long range unit in the game. Culture as it is sucks. It needs a complete overhaul. Maybe make Advent late game less terrifying, and early game more powerful? Kinda balance it out, sorta? Not sure how you'd do that, but stil

So i've been playing sins for what? A really long time I don't have much multiplayer experience but I think there is a lot of balancing that can go into making the advent competitive again. The current problem lies with the Advents early game, its pitiful and make LRM spamming them severely easy. But who can blame the other races the Advent's late game is terrifying(although I guess is corresponds with the early game). Along with the LRM problem lies multiple other problem
I'm just surprised that no one's gotten too mad that I've pointed out the sad fact that 16 advent capitals can steamroll TEC.
That is a late game strategy which is where Advent shine. My views on balance are, I believe everyone should be equal early-mid-late. I have a few ideas to make the advent good all around, but I haven't played to much of the other races to really comment on them.

Well as for the illuminator I think thats what make them unique. But I think it should be tier 2 but maybe require an upgrade before it, to get the illuminator. More things would be switch the positions of the Crystal Upgrades with the Ore Upgrades. But as for the mothership idea's I still think having an allegiance negation auto-attack would be viable. Or some way to speed up culture rates and add some new return to them.

Actually probably not, abilities really can't do much with culture and the only effects culture can have through research are already in game. I suppose you could give a base antimatter, shield mitigation and damage bonus to all the races to give it more kick but you can't add any other effects that aren't already there.

Make friendly planets under occupation of your culture have an increase in not just Allegiance, Credit, and Resource incom, but perhaps a slight increase to trade, damage deatl, population growth, etc, and a slight reduction in build time, (Workers would be happier working for your faction, so they'd work harder, right?) cost, perhaps. and damage recieved. Well im just glad my ideas didn't get to shot down :) But does anyone else agree there should be different ways of assimilating planets(Aside from the slow culture push) I feel as though killing civilians isn't exactly what the TEC/Advent are all about. And the Vasari prefer to enslave.
I tend to play Advent if just for the fact that maxing out their capital ships alone is enough to fend off the vasari swarm or crush TEC; albiet, you usually require other than capital ships before that because of the tech tree requirements, never the less, I'm just saying why I love Advent. . . You just need to hold off enough until you are ultimately ultimate. With that said, I must protest your Vasari Evacuator and TEC battlecruis
