Hey everybody, When loading a saved game, the following message appears: This save file requires the following DLC file to play: Forbidden Worlds. Forbidden Worlds was installed and working for the game that was saved and is installed and working when trying to load that game. We have also tried this on other machines that are each running Forbidden Worlds. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I really love this game and want to figure out what's causing this. I'm going to be doing more research tonight to gather additional information, but I just learned from my friend that he had a general crash to Windows today. He was Vasari Rebel, playing against 4 AIs, in a 5-star map. The crash occurred about mid game. 1. Are a lot of people experiencing this? 2. Is there a crash log?

It was a mod. The mod took out light carriers for a few reasons and made changes to the Sova to try and make up for the loss. I like the mod and will continue using it, but I shall miss my Percheron. I just have to adapt some of my strategies. And return to vanilla Rebellion from time to time.

I've been out of pocket for a while and just now returned to Sins. Some friends and I played a game tonight and I noticed that I didn't have research to create Percheron Carriers. Was that removed from the game, removed from the TEC Loyalists only, or is it there and I'm just missing it?

The mini dump issues discussed in this thread are something that has been confirmed as an issue. Yarlen, in this thread, indicated that they are working on squashing this bug, as did an e-mail from Technical Support. We'll see a patch eventually that will hopefully put this
Play TEC and have a Vasari ally, or vice versa.
That's pretty much what we do. When there are four of us allied, the TEC and Vasari players trade pacts, and the other TEC and Advent trade pacts. It works great.

Stardock's reply: This is a new crash that has been cropping up with the new patch, we are currently looking into it. There is no fix at this time, please bear with us at the moment. <span sty
I really don't like choosing between supply pact and armament pact. Both are so awesome.
I agree. So you would benefit from both. :) Although, to be fair, maybe subsequent pacts (in my suggestion) should be more expensive.

I figured they did it for balancing, but I would still love to see, in a future release perhaps, the ability to offer a pact to more than one. Your concern that you would get a bonus for every pact - I would address by only getting the bonus once, even if I've offered it to more than one person. In other words, it wouldn't stack. The only person who would be affected by a second, or third pact offering is the person being offered the pact (not you). So I would offer the Supply

I've been playing a lot of Sins over a LAN with three or sometimes four friends. We are having a blast - especially when we are engaging hard or unfair AIs. It's a bummer though that we can't offer pacts to more than one ally (when there's only three of us playing), but with four of us playing, it's not a big deal.

Three friends and me have been playing a lot of Rebellion over LAN lately. It's been a blast, but we have been consistently experiencing a crash during the late game. It has happened with a multi-star map, but also with single stars. It has happened with large fleets enabled, but also with normal fleets enabled. I wonder if it's happening during one of the auto saves. We can't help but wonder if it's being caused by the lesser Phantom or Intel Core processors or the ma

Sins got a good rating of 8.5 which is awesome. It was a really good article on Rebellion. Check it out: http://www.gamespot.com/sins-of-a-solar-empire-rebellion/reviews/sins-of-a-solar-empire-rebellion-review-6384904/

My friend saved one of our games to the cloud yesterday and tried to load it today, but it says he does not have the file. We have not had this problem until now. Also we have looked into the compatability possibility, but that does not seem to be the case. Other games show the red text about being from a previous version and unable to load, but this game is not one of those.

Sure, there are some things that I don't like, as I'll mention in a moment, but I'm actually pleased with the new expansion. I love that there are now six factions with unique strengths, ships, and abilities. However, I'm a little biased, because I love the concept - expanding to other planets, creating defenses, building a strong economy, conducting research, and forging alliances, but I also love the variety of research, diplomatic pacts, and artifacts in the game. Don't

Has anyone challenged a fortifier AI? My friend and I just played a game against two normal AIs that were both fortifiers. It was a lot of fun. However, when we began our invasion, I noticed the AI's defenses were very lacking. Their planets were poorly defended. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it because they were normal AI? I was thinking even normal AI would still develop more defenses, but it didn't. Instead of being a defensive AI, they seemed to focus more on ship construc

We were moving two large fleets (his and mine) into another enemy controlled well. There was just so much activity that we could see with his Vasari research that showed all phase lane activity. Massive fleets moving between wells in our system, in other systems, and between systems. Neither one of us is running nvidia hardware. Beyond that, sadly, I don't have much more info to offer. I wish I did. I guess you could say, our four hour experience turned into a round of stress te

I think it's great that we have the capability to do this and hopefully I'll find time to learn and use Forge. However, not everyone will have the time or the interest in using Forge so while it can be done, I recognize this as something that could be a useful addition to the pre-game setup - perhaps in the next release of Sins if not Rebellion. My friend and I played a game against four normal AIs in a 5 star map. The game lasted for about 4 hours and reached a point where dense enemy traffic could be seen throughout the systems. As we moved on to the next well, the game crashed with a runtime error. I found a saved game created just minutes before, but I don't know how useful it will be. I loaded it (in single player) to see if it would crash again, but no such luck.
