The only late game damage source it affects is titan weapon damage. it affecting capitalships is minor at best, and mid-late game combat frigates don't ge

I was kind of thinking recently: what if Group area shield were more eefetice on frigates then other ship types? At present it's plenty sufficient for making your capitalships tougher, but still utterly insufficient to keep your frigates alive through enemy titan AoE- something that it needs to do as a support titan who's main DPS comes from it's supporting fleet. Perhaps add some secondary effect, perhaps using the same mechanics guardians use:

Sometimes i feel this race gets bitch slapped for no reason.--it deserves

As far as I know you only get resources from when enemy capital ships (and now titans?) are killed. How many of those do you take down in a game? How often would you need to know one down to make it worthwhile? Maybe it would make sense in games against AI where you're going to end up killing many AI capital ships, but in real games it's

I have no idea what you're actually suggesting or addressing.
Also another mistake new players tend to make: Be very careful of wasting too much money of static defenses. Turrets are practically only used to speed expansion(colonize a planet before killing some of the defending militia and build turrets immediately to help kill the defenders faster, then scrap the turrets once they finish their job). Hanger bays are luxury late game defenses for when you have a ton of extra money. In gen
