I say above NOT only based on the nerfs or fixes, whatever you choose to call them, but also buffs to other factions which brought them more into the fold than before. For example Check VR TItan 1/2/3 upgrades, they are so bad they can hardly be called buffs. Now check Advent/TEC Titan 1/2/3 upgrades and they are mostly very good. VL titan upgrades while better than VR are still nowhere near the level of other factions. Starting with 2 factories saves a lot of newer or less skilled pl

Race strengths kinda go in hand with titan strengths since 1.50 so: VL* No arguments here TL/AR* Nearly Equal, TL titan better vs Vasari, AR titan better vs TEC. Overall not much in it. AL/VR* Nearly Equal, VR have an edge depending on set ups most of the time. TR* Awful titan, some questionable techs, TAR is less useful after 1.50

I was kinda hoping that 1.50 would put an end to these kind of threads. There is absolutely no need to nerf vasari further and they are in a decent place right now with a bit variety added to their gamestyle. Heh greg perhaps, although as you are probably aware a lot of the tricks are not talked about on the forums, and some people are very sceptical when it comes to ones that are discussed here. Even some skilled players still dont understand how to use basic Lfs properly and why sometimes they lose vs smaller fleets early game. If number of jumps between your hw and his hw > 3/4 you can try faking it with a spare migrator and kite him around his system, while sbing the planet you are after. If the hws are close then egg + migrator at nearest dwarf/roid is uncounterable by advent. I have tested it with grimm and it succeeds 100% of the time. Although that was before 1.50 was released.

Nice post although you are wrong on the first paragraph and TAR thing. Even more useless since DLC. Since we last disucssed it online i have tested in a double ECO 5s game. We had a skilled player as first ECO mass expanding across the galaxy and i was 2nd ECO prioritising fast trade and planet optimizations. I have people on my friend list who crash within 30 minutes every game since 1.52. Its affecting everyone differently but can we have 1.50 stability when MDs were a thing of the past. I keep saying this but noone listens, its due to the fact the disps are more able to shoot "sideways" or off the straight line than LFs are. Lfs are affected by the Ragnarov behaviour / turning / line of fire which makes them turn 90% degrees when unable to FF in a straight line. At least it appear to "look" that way .
