Hard to give any useful feedback, can you play 1v1 vs AI on a normal map instead; you know with resources, planets and stuff.

Are you after 5v5 replays? I can record and upload some skilled games for ya if you like.

Played DLC and patch all evening yesterday. Everything is generally great but everyone is of the same opinion that 2nd free factory promotes too much spam wars. Its unneccessary and removes diversity of early game builds. Someone said it was AI fix. Everygame revolves around LF spam even more so.

You are making it sound like everything should be exactly the same for all races. You do realise that if advent were to get the techs abnd upgrades you are asking for, their military and culture power would have to be significantly reduced. Aggression is key for advent, they are not a sit back and build mass trade ports and upgrade extractors faction, even the lore supports it.

Hey Skyline The answers to your questions really depend whether you are playing vs AI or a humna opponent/s. Ryat above is pretty spot on but in general you need a lot more ships and you should be able to make a lot of cheap frigates at any point in the game. I would suggest that you first havea look into how to colonize planets using just one colonizer ship without any military support as it really does make playing experience a lot more enjoyable imo.

You guys completely took my post out of context. So let me just say that while Turchany is obviously exagerrating quite a bit, in essence hes correct. How correct is unknown until 1.5 hits and people are able to test the balance. Additionally i see vasari win 1v2 almost everytime and 1v3 quite often. Probably for the best since you are still failing to grasp the concept and havent even tested it properly. Im glad you are pretty confident but you are simply wrong but its your choice and i have no idea why you are even discussing this when you are not even open to accepting your lack of understanding or knowledge of game mechanics. Well i have read your replies and here are my thoughts: -Have you guys had an egg in the same gravity well during testing ( needs to be a simultaneous attack). Wow what a response by HLT, that man has some serious hate issues. By the way average MP 5s game takes 1hr30-2hrs to finish and i ve had games where it went over 4 hours! The more balances and skilled the game is the longer it takes to finish. I dont know what qualifies for a "short fast" games in your book HLT but 2 hours per game( or longer) is more than penty for many players.
