Please don't put an entire paragraph in the post title. Most of it will just be cut off on the thread list anyway. In any case, if a special tile isn't adjacent to existing buildings, you can just send a pioneer to it.

It's probably due to the zero-tile requirement.
I tried to upload the debug.err to pastebin, but apparently its too big. Ill save it, and if whoever reads this (or not) wants it, i can throw it up somewhere you direct.
If it won't fit, you can just upload it to dropbox as you would a memory dump.
Please provide a savegame for this, it'll make it easier to test/reproduce.
Custom factions have not been removed. If you made one previously, the added medallion will have pushed the new custom medallion off to the right. Just click the arrow to scroll over and find it.
How many units were in the group? Did the message repeat the same number of times?
Please provide dump files when reporting crashes. If one was not generated, please note such in your report.
If the savegame reproduces the crash, please provide it also in addition to the dump.
If you're interested in the Limited Edition box, we have an option for that on the preorder page . If you want to change a download order to a standard box though you'll need to contact sales as above to see if that's possible, as we don't currently have an option for it in the store.
WAI--most games work this way. Windowed mode at desktop resolution hides the borders and titlebar so that it *look* like fullscreen, yet you get the improved alt-tab speed and reliability of running in windowed mode.
It's not the tiles but rather the HUD that's corrupted here (was also reported elsewhere).
This is working as intended. As you'd have to land the mouse exactly on the border in a non-desktop sized window, and you'll be crossing said border with the mouse any time to switch to another window, it's really not practical in that context.
Not yet. We're currently working through some late issues to see if we can still make it tonight.
This is working as intended--the final model won't be in the beta, since that sort of thing doesn't really need tested.
Much of the tech trees are just not applicable to competitive games.
While you may feel that particular issues are glaring in competitive play, the fact is most users play single player primarily or exclusively. So (again) yes, there are things we'd like to address, but you can't only consider how those things affect hardcore players.
Yet all that is being asked for is some action on the most pressing problem... and some commitment to
Just email and they should be able to give you a hand.
You will need to email IC support , it wasn't a URL.
especially as I run much more demanding games like Just Cause 2 etc
The game has some CPU utilization issues at present, so you probably won't find a more demanding "game" outside Prime95 until we get things under control. :p
I believe, 6 months maybe?
The last Diplomacy update was around three and a half months ago. Right now, all hands here are working on Elemental. It's slated for gold/feature lock in a few weeks and we'll be working just as much after that for the early updates. Six and a half weeks before retail is really not the time to pull people off to put on other projects. I don't know what Ironclad's development schedule is for their new project, but as a very sma
It's pretty shortsighted against abuses, as the realID system is in general. Fortunately I've never had any desire to deal with their forums since I spend way too much on ours as it is :p
Enormous roundup update for Beta 3 weekend.
This is now fixed internally. It only occurred upon the first use of a new custom sovereign.
A machine completely turning off under load (not rebooting, which would indicate a hidden BSOD) typically results from overheating or a weak/failing PSU.
Please link your debug.err file as per the reporting guide so we can see more detail on your system configuration.
Do the improvements reappear if you zoom back in, or are they permanently invisible? Please provide your debug.err file as per the reporting guide.
Which building(s) is it that does this, and can you consistently reproduce it?
