The rebranding seemed a bit backwards since DVD-by-mail was their primary service. I've subbed for streaming off and on over the past few years they've had it but they have yet to get serious about improving their selection, so I just dropped it again. Hulu, Youtube, and Crunchyroll have everything I care to watch anyway.

Shoot an email to in that case. I believe there was some issue with this recently but it was supposed to have been resolved.
Do you have diplomacy/trinity or just the base game?
I checked the user.setting file and the resolution is set correctly there
Did you check the refresh rate too?

If it got to a point where it were considered harassment they could have their forum privileges suspended (the same as harassing any other user would earn), but that's up to us.
Please contact about Impulse issues.
You are exactly correct! My windows 7 64 bit is a homesharing
If you're trying to run the game from a network share, I'd strongly advise just installing it locally on the machine you're intending to play on, as the game wasn't designed to be run in that fashion. If you have complaints to make, I'm sure there are appropriate channels for them. If you just want to dump on another mod though, do it elsewhere.
Shift-right click it in Impulse and choose the verify option.
If you've forgotten your account details, contact and they should be able to help you recover it.
can I play diplomacy and get those features PLUS all of the features Entrenchment has as well? (I noticed the ability to build starbases but thought it was just a glitch)
That's the way it is, yes. Diplomacy builds on Entrenchment and includes all of the content it did, plus the additional Diplomacy content. As far as updates, you simply need to register the game(s) in impulse and hit the update button. It will bring them up to current with no worrying about
Secondly, I do not see any record of the pre-order in my Stardock or Impulse accounts, is this normal?
Yes, until it is charged it is just a queued sales order, so there won't be any registration to put on your account until it does get charged. Typically we charge when something is made available (which may be either the final game or a beta in the case of a pre-order). If you have any questions about that, please contact <a href="mailto:"
If you shift-right click the game in Impulse and choose the verify option, it should spend a while analyzing your installation and will then download any files that differ or are missing. That way you should be able to avoid a full reinstall.
Did you disable the root certificate authority service (probably not the exact name, I don't have any XP machines handy to double check)?
Setting LAA on an executable which was not designed for it can cause DirectX errors, among other issues. If you're experiencing issues which cannot be reproduced with no modifications whatsoever, please direct your questions to the authors of whatever mod you're using. There are a great many possible ways which mods can cause issues in the game, and they will be most familiar with what they've done which may cause them.
If the package was factory sealed when you bought it, please email with proof of purchase and they should be able to work something out. If it was not factory sealed, then it's likely it was tampered with at the retail end, and you should exchange it there for a copy which is what you actually paid for.
If the registration is not showing up on your account, or if you're not sure which account it is on, contact and they should be able to help locate it.
On a related note: is it possible to get my in-game awards/trophies back?
No, those would have been stored locally on the machine the game was installed on.
Simply fire up Impulse and do so the exact same way as you did initially. You're free to install as often and for as long as you like.
Don't forget the alpha layer.
Trinity and Diplomacy are the same thing--Trinity is just the bundled version which includes the base game and previous expansion in one package in addition to Diplomacy. Any Diplomacy updates apply regardless whether you have it as a part of Trinity or not. Impulse does not forcibly auto-update, however only the latest version is provided. If you want an older version, you would need to not update or to archive the older version to later revert/reinstall.
We usually offer such an option for our retail releases, but I can't say with certainty that such will always be the case.
