I've been away from Sins for a long time. But It seems that I posted this same problem almost a year ago. Why doens't the Forum Search work? I can't believe I even remember this from a year ago. But it pissed me off so much then, that I remember it even now... And it won't let me search again for X number of seconds. Which really doesn't come into play here since it doesn't work the first time. I can even look in a thread for a word. Then sear

I cannot believe that I had to actually shutdown my Antivirus, to get a patch. But apparently that's what it took! I hate these extra programs on my computer, that again... I do not want! Just install a 'simple' update or let me do it myself! I do not need another Stardock application to advertise and let me browse at all of your other programs that I do not have. Ok, I have not played Sins in many moons. But I have just reinstalled it, and see that I patches are no longer available for download? Great.... So, I download and install a program I do not want on my system... Impluse. I run it... I login, and the status area(bottom left) says: Logging In... Retrieving latest Information... Ok, I guess I have to do that a lot more. I was researched up to the third chevron only so far. I guess that's not enough, but I thought I should be able to at least build 2 capital ships. One at my main planet, and the second at my colonized asteroid. Both had Capital Ship Factories...

I can edit my first post if I created a new thread, but if I just reply to a thread, I cannot edit that post. I used to be able to edit posts. I edited one earlier today. But as of about Noon today, I no longer can. Snacko

There is a function called 'Focus on Selection' in the Camera section of Key Bindings. But it does not have any key bound to it. I don't know exactly what it does, but it might be worth a try binding it to key and see if it helps? Snacko

I wanted just 1 key to toggle Expand/Collapse the Empire Tree window. By Default the keys are: Collapse All Planets: ; Expand All Planets: Ctrl+; So, I changed the Expand All Planets to just: ;, so my keys are now like this: Collapse All Planets: ; Expand All Planets: ; But that does not work! There is an option in the User Interface to turn on/off Zoom to Cursor. I have Zoom to Cursor turned On. I have to double-click on a ship to make the camera 'follow' it. If I left-click on empty space, the camera will stop or not follow it. Hope this helps. ;) Snacko

I have a map with a Magnetic Cloud for a planet. (it's called Makhaon) What is this good for? I can send a ship there, but what for? Where can I find info on this kind of stuff when I run into it? Snacko
