lol no. You usually make some kind of sense. But I think that schem, emp and sarcasm all have a healthy streak of Tireless Rebutter in them.

Actually bong is a perfect fit for someone else who comes around here... but i'll be nice and not mention names lol. As for me, I think I'm somewhere between Big Cat and Eagle Scout .

Not sure that a poll would be necessary for that... If they see a lot of then they know something is bad. But if they see a lot of then they know it's good.

The time doesn't really matter to me much. The 27th marks the end of my spring break. I'll be in class all that day and at work all that night. Then I'll probably spend the next day sleeping - having been up for the previous 28 hours.

No manual... that's ok. I can understand that it won't be finished until later... but how about at least a scan of the napkin that you wrote all of the hotkeys on? ...even if it does have a little pizza sauce on it.

heh, reminds me of the night that there were 8 Wedge-HG's in the WON lobby. *shakes fist at Firehawk* Looks like it's time for someone to swing the admin hammer around a bit.

Unless, of course, the announcement looks something like this: "Announcement: The Beta will be released... right now!" *crosses fingers*

As far as I know they all move in the same ways. The movement interface ought to be the same too. Would be kinda silly to make them all different. Would just make things unnecessarily complicated. The only differences would be, as noted by Paradonxnt, in speed and potentially certain special abilities that are unique to each species.

I think the simple answer is that antimatter is the basic unit of fuel/energy for spacecraft. Certain quantities of it are used up to do most things that ships do. This is to keep their special abilities in check and allow you to "prioritize" ship's activities... prioritize isn't quite the right word but what I'm trying to get at is that you are able to choose which abilities to use your limited supply of antimatter on thus creating a more specialized role for the ship. You can focus al

I believe that the way it works is that once you are in orbit around the planet you have vision of everything in orbit. So to spring a trap the ships would have to come out of phasespace. And I agree that in most cases you are going to want your carriers to hang back out of the action. A dedicated carrier ship isn't going to have much in the way of offensive weaponry (aside from its fighters) so there is no point in risking it on the front lines... unless it turns out that they hav

Gang, you're getting very worked up over a game concept. Everyone take a deep breath and relax. After a Phase Space jump, a portion of the anti-matter a ship has "vanishes" and needs to be replenished (which happens naturally from the Star). That's how it appears in-game to the player. <br

Not the bar, Einstein, but the antimatter in the fuel tank. This loss would be represented the same way as any other antimatter consumption would: a less than full bar. Get it? "that renders portions of it unuseable" ... "it" being antimatter. "portions" meaning less than all of it. Of course I realize that frozen is just a general term. That's why I said "or any other similar term." The general meaning of all such terms being that it is unusable NOW but will become usable again at some

So far everything I've thought of turned out to be cliched allusions to popular culture or downright stupid... I hope that doesn't reflect too badly on me. Nah, makes you fit right in
