all looks good, except I still see no fix for carrier swarms in sight... that one issue seems only to be getting worse.
Schod
oh god I'm happy that I've stopped trying to follow these debates :) people just dont realize how common these topics are. people had the same concern 150 years ago, except theirs were far more warranted. will America stay in front for the long term? nobody can tell. over centuries? obviously not. but for the short term America is still in the seat of power and has a certain keystone economic structure that neither the EU nor china can easily and quickly replicate. so
CryaniaIV, I dont get what you are saying could you specify?
he's saying that phosphorous is a chemical weapon. although, under that definition so are any type of firearm.
"science" as we call it, is about taking guesses at how. not why. Intelligent Design is a "why" explanation, there is no tangible evidence to suggest that it is true, at all. it is, in all truth, theology just as much as all forms of religion, all codes of morality and string theory. in short, its an improvable theory. it has no evidence, statistic, physical, or otherwise. Evolution has evidence supporting it from various forms of study, from statistical analysis to i
SoaSE just pooped on me!
in certain cultures communal defecation is a sign of affection. but I get the feeling thats not the case here...
I think the reason they have those oh-so-overly jointed legs is because they were, at some point in time, flightless avians
need more be said?
if I'm reading the OP correctly he's not seeing *anything* but icons...
Why why why is it limited in range? its just wrong... thats about all I have to say on the subject. it really dissapoints me that they have been nerfed to be un-cool :\
It kindof irritates me that WHs were made intrasolar in 1.02 (I think), I really liked having them connect to other stars, although admittedly I wished that wormholes would do both.
I doubt you are going to get a full 5v5 going, several people have already said that they cannot do it. I, however, think I should be able to get on :P
its not like it matters, the only way its useful for interstellar is if you know the enemy's home planet and at least 3-4 novas then you *can* spike his planet for a rediculous expense, but then again is that even worth it???
in 1.03 does the "small fleet, large fleet" button only change the numbers you recieve, not the numbers presented to you on the research panel? it gets incredibally confusing when I want to purchase the next fleet upgrade, but because I'm on an odd setting I have *no* idea how many points I'm getting... this is just the most glaring of a bunch of issues...
Airfix is trying to confuse you with logic that says you play to the rules of several games at once... ignore him.
It's true! The Pope has updated the list with modern Sins
you realize that if you counted the number of sins from all of the "updates" the vadican has given us you'd have dozens, if not hundreds, of sins.
bump :P wow this board progresses way too quickly... not even 20 hours and I have to bump the thread up from 3rd or 4th page
you're not supposed to counter heavy-cruiser spam after-the-fact. you should notice *far* before your enemy gets to heavy crusiers that he's been teching up, if he's been matching your armada tech up yourself (so that you can get to the technique I'm about to tell you about) or if he has a smaller force, or fewer forces, bash into his base and take down as many research stations as possible. even if he barely gets to heavy cruisers before you wipe out 3 research stations, he cant use the tech if
I like 'em although I dont quite see the changes to the halcyon (and thats my #1 advent ship)...
of course the obligatory xkcd RIP gary strip.
Carbon while 3v2 is good enough to beat them for some races (esp. the advent, maybe TEC) you will lose a frig in the process, and holding of a few seconds to avoid that at all costs is worth far more than spending an extra ~400 cred in cost that could be spent on more pressing thingS (like making sure your asteroid doesnt bleed you dry of cash when its done)
I dont know about 1.03 but for 1.04 I would like to see the Vasari made more multi-star friendly via super expensive "supergates" I've made a post about this, so if you're curious go check there :P
especially considering maps such as valkora-blah's laborynth, I think that intra-star gates could be appropriate for either 1) a high enough level research (surely 8 would suffice) or said research and a costly add-on to every applicable gate. or finally, my personal favorite, 3) a high research and a really costly version of the phasegate :) part of the Vasari code is to hit where the enemy is weakest, I've had more than enough games where I've succesfully bored by way through the en
the only way I can put it is that, just short of full blown supply lines, this game has all sorts of imaginable strategy.
is that the one that allows your buildings to shut down temporarily so that they can raise a shield to protect themselves? Astax you would have to be a moron to not research that... its a powerful anti-raiding tech.
clearly the advent. superior numbers and decent build times and damage cynch it for them. not to mention many of their abilities support fighters.
