Well I just played the gaem again the way I would normally play a game and massacred the NOD. This time my anit-inf stuff worked so yay for me. I should have made it mre clear before. It was all out in teh open. I had 3 APCS with riflemen in thm for anti-inf support of my column of tanks and they got nailed. But now everythign is fine. I never use inf, they are the suxors for hp/armor, even the zone troopers. So now I send in zones with one or two sniper teams in AP

U got to play NOD!? I cant. I could only play GDI, I will have to take another look at this. At any rate all I know is that the Black Hand = gay overpoweredness. When I had my troops in a building one black hand squad walks up and .1 sec later all my guys are dead with almost no structural damage. I know flame throwers are god but that is just BS. Then the black hand attacked my base and my infantry couldnt kill one before the flamers went off and massacred my infantry again. <

LOL, Alexanader, we bitch about the rep of the galaxy, because they arent galaxies. They are solar systems. The screens shown, are of planets in a solar system, and there are multiple solar systems. Anywho, I am willing to endure the deformaty of the solar systems, as long as the game itself is done well.

I was just hinking( a shock I know), I had said in my first post on this thread, that that he solar systems seemed a little waky as to how they look. I undestand the idea behind it though and the desire for it to look like a galaxy of sort when veiwed from a distance. That being said, I haven't seen info on the level of cusomization availible to the player. I am no moder, but I know that if some one with the proper skills and hte same view point taht I have were to see the solar syste

I was going to post on this, but you have beat me to it. The screens seem to support the importance of the artifacts and statements that they give VPs, it also shows that my theory of alien tech being hte reason for hte artifacts, may not be correct. It is possbile however that the 4th tier tech tree may also be another reason for the artifacts, but I have nothing other then speculation to support this.

Well, I have noted some mixed feelings about hte delay announcment, though we are all appreciative of hte update( of sorts) the delays is a bit unwelcome. Given that, it was stated that part of the reason for the announcement was so that feedback could be given before hte beta was released. My first comment on this would be to reduce the number of planets per system by a margin of 35% to 65% and increase the number of systems allowed. This comment is based soley on the fact

OMW, if they are finite, then that would make the storage, protection, and transportation of them all the more interesting to have in the game. Imagine if a player has a major convoy get ripped apart by a cloaked vasari fleet or something of that nature. That would be a huge blow to ones economy. it still sounds overly clunky, it would require a lot of refining and finetuning. One easy work around would be to not have a ships pysically carry

Ok, I dont know how to make an official quote from a different thread. I must say that I was not very specific. The orange triangular things are the artifacts. I dont see a point for the devs to put artifacts into a game for no reason. Extra game content that serves no purpose would be a waste of time. The fourth tech tree when presented in the 5 page write-up was written as special. By them making the 4th tech tree a specail one, it only stands to reason that it is there for a unique purpose. One way to bring in special technology to a game is thro

I would think that basedon the what we have seen, one good possiblity is the tech based on Artifacts that Ola mentioned: . Based on that pic you see artifacts, perhaps they are there for some other purpose( maybe just bonus reserach or something), but it is also entirely possible that they will lend themselves to the foruth mysterious tech.

This is where "IT'S A GAME" comes in. Meh, it don't make sense, but it will still be fun, focus on tha I guess.

I here ya... I had a tirple stacker at this place called the Beef 'n' Bun. It had 4 slices of cheese and 4 slices of bacon wit hthe three patties. By the end of it I felt my heart beating and a strain in my chest. It was like the Simpsons episode where the simpsons had BBQ( because He wanted to have a better BBQ then Flanders' BBQ), I was wigam with the burger could get up.

I'm sure almost all beta-enrolees agree with me when I say this: we payed 50 god blessed $ a whole freaking 6 months before the game came out, a bit of punctuality would be nice. at the very least we've earned rights to be irritated. So you have to pay to get into the beta; be a assurd a spot in the beta; or pre-order the game and with the pre-order, be assurd a spot in the beta? I assume it is the 3rd option, but I would like to be sur

Well, I have two views. If your talking about hoding a formation(more or less) in a physical sense( ie arrow formation or block, or sphere) then I think that it would be a hinderance most of the time. The enemy in with a more loose and fluid approach will be able to flank and cunduct assault on the rear of your postion. Even if ships used their thrusters to compensate and turn around, they would still get hit from the income ships of other directions. What I think you ment in

Not at all, I would like them to actually carry the cargo, so that if an enemy fleet raids and say destroys these vessels, there will still be cargo containers that are undamaged and able to be recovered although you would want to capture the ship yourself. The whole point of that, would be to add another aspect of trading, and raiding, and make sure that there is no carelessness lest you run the risk of the price for being careless.

The sea, and mount combat has been talked about, and to my knowledge has not been ruled out. However, most likely if it will be implemented, it will be implemented later on, or in a very basic way for the games launch.

As Far as Chaos winning, it sucked that the guy gets all pumped up for nothing, but good doesn't always prevail. My main concern isnt too much about the classes, but how will everything be integrated and will the combat model be any good. I want to see an MMORPG that finally has a good system. THe belly jabbs and knee kicks are great and all but I dont want my BIG ARSE ORKY THING to knee some human in the gut and then see a high elf to the same move, do the same damage and it is calle

Sorry for the post I gave in response Schem, I was sleepy and not paying attention. Anywho, what I was asking was which style of resource collection are they planning on using. The typical one, or a more realistic and( given the contexted of the game) fitting way of convoys. Back before they took the pics of the ships away, I thought i had seen a picture of a Vasarri transport, and the cruisers fo the TEC are modifications of Transport Hulls, so they already have the
