Hey guys, The ability to see orders given when paused is already on the wishlist. Hopefully there will be time soon for it.
Have a look at this thread: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/?forumid=408&aid=174838#1444196 Playing with your graphics settings may help. Where did it say access denied?
Is there anybody with ATI cards who is still having this problem with the latest drivers? Also, is there anybody having this problem with an Nvidia card that isn't an 8800?
If you want to have an ally permanently, make sure that when you set up the game, you turn locked teams on. I don't think you'll have to do missions then. If you like getting the missions and want to complete them, you'll have to build up enough ships to do what they say - if they want you to take out 5 enemy ships, you'll need a big enough force to do that. It might take a little time.
Can you email [email protected] with this info?
It will be in your user directory Vista: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting\ XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\ in the Screenshots folder.
No solutions yet sorry... we're working on it. Could anyone who has this issue send an email to [email protected] with a dxdiag report and a link to this thread?
It's bump mapping. Makes all your stuff prettier, but it does take up a good chunk of memory.
are you getting dump files Bullsoo?
NICE!!!!!!!!!!! I have a new desktop
You have to do it from GF... it isn't the best way right now, more of a workaround while we figure out how it should work. Go into galaxyforge and edit the two players you want to play, set their team index to 0. Then try again and see if you start as one of those two players. It should work.
please email it to [email protected]
If you set up the teams so you and your friend start in the right place, then you should be able to crank up the player credits and stuff for those two players... did you try it?
From the FAQ: Minimum Requirements: * Windows XP SP2 / Windows Vista * 1.8 GHz Single-Core Processor * 512 MB RAM (1 GB for Windows Vista) * 128 MB DirectX 9 3D Video Card (Radeon 9600 / GeForce FX 6600 and above) * DirectX 9.0c Compatible Sound Card * DVD-ROM Drive * 3 GB Hard Drive Space * Keyboard and Mouse * DirectX 9.0c Looks like you should be ok, although it probably won't be as stunning as it c
All stars are connected to each other. They just don't show the phase lanes because it looks ugly... ^H^H^H I mean, because it's a totally different method of travel...
Could you post what you did? It may help others.
At the moment: Balance Of Power Derelict Gateway Voruk's Labyrinth
Thanks Busby, I didn't realize that :P
The capacity increases as your ship levels up.
At the moment, no. The scout and colony ships will not auto-join by default, but all others will unless told not to. If you don't want them to join a fleet, rally them somewhere where there aren't any fleets.
At the moment, you win if your opponents have no planets left or they surrender. More options may come in content updates...
Hmm... I wonder if xp64 has the same problems as Vista x64. Have a look at this thread: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/?forumid=408&aid=174838#1444172 Changing your video options may help you.
Hey, You wouldn't be a vista x64 + nvidia (78xx, 79xx, 8800) user by any chance?
To the left of the portrait at the bottom, there are three little info sections. The bottom one will show more info on the bonuses if you mouseover it.
