Gabriel, I really loved starlancer and I think it had some of the best capital ships around. I would love to see a mod that used starlancer ships with appropriate weapon balances. A freespace mod would also rule (slightly more ;P). Anyway, Mastiff is certainly right about the pricing. Caps in starlancer were very awesome; however, making them 150k creds is a bit much. Maybe think about doubling the price/resources and halving the supply from vanilla sins.

When I get home I will test this to see if I get the dots as well. I think it's happening because it is trying to make the objects shiny. I notice it with asteroids.

Cykur, The flak frigate won't be able to effectively penetrate any armor besides very light and light. I made them utterly useless against anything besides fighters (and bombers to an extent, but fighters do a better job against bombers) by changing the penetration values. The 30% increase does nothing besides making them more effective against fighters. Anyway, yeah, sorry for derailing the thread. That's enough out of me ;)
In the upcoming modification I am making I made flak slightly more effective :P (30% more effective to be exact).
So far I have one person who is willing to test the pre-release version for bugs and such before I release it. I want a few more testers. Anyone who is interested please message me, thanks! Oh, I in no way meant to say the way I am going to handle it is better than yours. It's just that I am doing the coding, thus I want to code in a way that is easiest for me. I chose things in a way that would make coding as easy as possible for me while still providing the features I said I would provide. Don't think I was belittling your idea or any thing like that.

In an upcoming modification I am making, the effectiveness of spamming will be greatly reduced when the ships begin attacking types they are not meant to attack.

"Will this be Entrenchment Compatible?" Assuming the format of the files remains unchanged, I am sure it will work. The program has no hardcoded value limits (besides the ceiling value on an integer, lol), thus any added parameters will be no problem. For the conversion between binary/text files for Entrenchment, I remember Annatar saying that there was one extra parameter taken by the ConvertData.exe. I will take this into account when coding the load/save feature. &n
For those of you who have been following, which are probably not many, I have started development of a editor for files contained in the Gameinfo directory. I have now decided to name it Sins Editor (Not Entity Forge, which is what I believe some people were expecting). I want to get a version out somewhat fast in order to get feedback on it, thus I will be releasing a v1.0 within 2 weeks that will NOT be feature complete. These are the features I am plan
