That said.. Kitkun, Monk and I are like a dynamic trio. I'm the good cop, Monk is the bad cop (poor guy gets flamed so much ), and Kitkun is just a cute furry who's somewhere in between - but really the cuteness is just a cover for an evil mastermind.
Oooo...Anny do I get to wear my 80's mirrored sunglasses? hehe [e digicons]:D[/e] Seriously though, you're abosolutely spot-on with regard to Ironclad. The DEVS deserve all the credit! Seems to me the motto of BFS (BlackFootStudios): "Do not build your community around a game, build your game around a community" is the way to go..... [e digicons][/e] Stardock has done this at every turn. I'm definately a fan(boi?)...hehe [e digicons];P[/e]
but honestly I hate RTS storylines they are for w/e reason boreing to me cept for homeworld.
That's because the original Homeworld story (best game story evah!) read like a book. I still have the game manual/novel. The bar for RTS storylines was set pretty high by that story...imo....which makes other stories look like "feeble attempts", so I'd almost rather not have a "story" for SINS...

You're welcome... Sorry to hear your friend won't be enjoying SINS, it really is a gem in the "game-world". :) Everytime I think I've got it all figured out, I get hit with a new strategy and another way to die....hehe the Monk

*sigh*.....no EDIT button again... I meant to add, that if the new system doesn't boot after imaging from the old to the new (ie. the hardware is just too different) you may need to run an OS repair and then do the driver re-install using the self-extracting .EXE. Of course you might end up doing what I would really do. Painstakingly setting up the new machine and letting your wife know the time you're investing in her by doing so... hehe

What I would do..... (well not really.......I'm too OCD ....but we can pretend...hehe) warning : this may be too much work for some....[e digicons];P[/e] 1. Boot the new laptop, then install and run DriverMagician to extract and save the drivers for the new hardware to a self-installing .exe file and copy to a USB stick. 2. Take the HD out

For game version 1.05 and below: Please download and follow the step-by-step "Networking and SINS" which can be found linked-to right under the GREEN writing in the OP of this thread . If you were to update your game to version 1.1 BETA (v1.095) via IMPULSE ( www.impulsedriven.com ) you don't have to follow any of the steps in my guide. thanks, the Monk<

1. Please determine the game version you are running. This is shown in the bottom right corner of the screen when at the main menu in-game. 2. If you're on game version 1.05 or less, then you'll need to follow the step-by-step I wrote called "Networking and SINS" which can be found linked-to right under the GREEN writing in the OP of this thread . 3. Please download the guide linked-to right under the GREEN writing in the OP of this thread . It contains all necessary info (inlcuding port information) in order to host game with SINS version 1.05 or lower (BETA 1.1 (1.095) does not require those steps) thanks, the Monk

Which website? You need to use IMPULSE (go to www.impulsedriven.com and download it) for all game updates now. Once you have IMPULSE installed you'll be able to update to version 1.05 (the latest NON-BETA version) or if you click the blue ORB in the upper left of IMPULSE and select "show pre-release versions" you'll be able to install the latest BETA version (version 1.095 aka version 1.1BETA) th

Sounds strange, because once a game/application is no longer active any "active" changes they might have made should be gone...... however here's something to try anyway. Have him boot into "safe mode". Navigate to the device manager, remove/uninstall his "display adapter" (video card) and then reboot. His video card will be autodetected again on reboot. He should then download the latest video driver (if he hasn

In my opinion UBIsoft is worse. Personally, I'd rather have some DRM to contend with rather than the buggy shit UBI puts on store shelves. I can't ever forgive them for what they've done to the R6 franchise. Having played the R6 games since the very first Rainbow Six, I've seen that franchise ground into the dirt by UBI. The last "playable" R6 game was Raven Shield, and even that had it's bugs... DRM over game-breaking bugs anyday! Now, in a

Is this happening before you get to the "main menu"? Are you perhaps trying to load a save-game from a previous game-version? That will break things....hehe Game-saves are not valid across game-versions... Also, if you have a MOD enabled to "load at start" and it's not compatible with the game-version you're running it can cause the above behaviour. thanks, the Monk

1. "Multiplayer" is used for LAN games only. 2. "IronClad Online" is where you create your "online player" (add player......after loggin in) and create, join games. If you're on game version 1.05 (game-versions are shown at the bottom right when in-game at the menu) you'll need to download my guide "Networking and SINS" (for port-forwarding information) which can be found <a href="/17
