i decided i was going to try them out today by modding the game, (obviuosly not going to say how as we where asked not to) but i quickly gave up as most all of the new abilities and research things in the game either dont work or crash the game so i thought i would list the ones i found the starbase jumping crashes the game, the titan spawn phase lane also crashes the game, the block in bound jumps doesnt work at all and the rebel titan gravity ability doesnt always dis

ok i just saw an example while playing, the pirate deffense, they dont research or anything (althought i kinda recon they should so they become more annoying through out the game) anyway, there turrets hit u for 45 damage each the best i can get to is 29 (not including missle or laser but it still dosent equal, it comes close but not) umm im surposed to be the fortification expert and these pirates are better then me

just trying to do my part as a tester (lol) each time the game crashes it says that it sent a file to the company, but it also says that its saved a mini dump file, do i need to forward these to? if so how? the ai seem to be able to to this granted its most likely just because well its the ai, but still when i set my scouts to auto explore they all end up getting killed because they all keep going back to the pirate base instead of exploring unknown planets, or you keep losing your trade ships because they have decided going through this very deffended enemy planet is faster then going around, so my thought was, why cant we select a planet so the auto programing of flights (what ever the technic
sure at the start the turrets and mines help but once u start getting more and more cap ships and a titan they become next to usless and just fold like paper, perosnally i think there should be an upgrade for later in game which lets you make them better so they can actually deffend somthing, espcially the loyalist tec as there all about deffense
im not sure what causes this issue but i have noticed that the advent almost only build the support cap ships for example i was versing a hard ai and it kept trying to attack me with five of there motherships while most of the time the tec only build carrier caps and then send them into the front lines of battle

well the devs eventually allow us to play as them on the beta, as if its just a matter of waiting im more then happy to...... but 2 months is a bit much for my fav team (i just love the gate ways and there super weapon they make great sneak attackers)
ive seen some people going on about playing as the vasari, how come i cant?
personally the slowing the titan thing down would only be good if all titans where slowed what i think should happen if they did it is that it takes a while for it to eat an enemy planet so they can still try and save there planet before it gets completly eaten (big ships om nomming on a planet) planets fleet comes in to try and stop it or destroy it before it can finish
can i point out that the planet that unlocks it there are actually small ponies running around it somewhere (yes in space at l;east in the other games) i was following a strike craft zoomed and and saw heard of ponies run past and was like wait [e digicons]8C[/e] WTF

dam you sins of a solar empire, you are the only game that i have come across where i will sit down and go ok i will just play for a bit in the morning then get off (not even completed the same game yet sometimes) and go wait why is it dark? me and my friends avoid laning on this game as we know it will just eat out weekend away with out us knowing..... why did you have to create such a monster
personally i could live with the lvling, maybe not the respawn same lvl thing, but make them slower there supposed to be these gaint hulking death machines and u just cant escape them unless u make them turn

ages ago when i was looking at this game i got the impression that titans where going to be massive, now dont get me wrong they are big but i was thinking bigger then starbase size, they also said that they would be slow, but the ones i have can go just as fast as the capital ships (not at turning granted) and now i have read that if a titan dies when you rebuild it, it comes back at the same lvl, considering the last game i was playing each time i killed an ai one it imediatly rebu
i know its only a tiny graphics bug but i thought i would do my part as a complete and utter fan to just let you guys know, if your playing as the TEC the kodiak cruiser, the carrier and the dunov all have the same engine glitch, which is there engine is just what ever color the sun is, its most notiable on the dunov as its a large ring at the end, not sure if it does it on other ships as i havent looked in great detail at the other ships yet...... or is this just a glitch that my comput
