I just lost a fleet, including level 4 Eradica titan (rebels) to fully upgraded TEC starbase. Either i'm doing it wrong, or they can't take one out without excessive strikecraft usage.

I always liked the Deliverance Engine best of the superweapons. With concentrated fire of two or more Engines it really hurts the opponents economy even if you can't attack them with military, including neutralizing colonies and preventing their re-colonisation. Indefinetly if the opponent doesn't know what it's doing.

Workers don't aid other worker's construction projects, and can't be assigned to them manually either. Each constructor at the planet simply increases the rate that structures are built. Regardless of what

Similar clipping issue with the Discordia while it's being built, it's tail clips into the Capital Ship factory. If it's head could be postioned closer to the wall of the factory it would propably fit in there completely.
Systems of War and Doppelgangers. I like to have time to build a solid foothold from which to launch attacks.
In the betas for original SoaSE and it's expansions it took quite long for the other factions to be playble. Now, i'm as eager to test out the new Advent toys as the next guy, but rushing deveploment never ends well.
Yeah, it makes it unfeasable to build starbases at the stars. Unless two nearby starbases can fix each other with docking booms? They can't fix themselves with them.
Yeah, i've seen the AI spam mines too, but to me it seems it builds them around it's structures, which means you can jump to the planet safely. So the way i deal with this spam is: scout the planet before attacking, find a safe landing spot, set fleets to "hold position" and bring in a Titan with a scout. Just order the Titan to move to a position trough the mines and manually control a scout to move with it, the Titan's weapon banks clear mines without damage. I also have
I just avoid them while taking the planet and send a capital ship or titan to clear them up afterwards. Easy and hassle free. Does increase fleet downtime since the ship has to be repaired afterwards, though. They are an annoyance mostly. As i always scout a planet before attacking it avoiding mines is usually pretty easy.
Well, it is a beta, these things take time. That said i'd really like to play with the new Advent toys sooner rather than later [e digicons]:pout:[/e]
Heh, that looks like a god-mech from an anime cartoon [e digicons][/e] Can't wait to use that one.
Well thats unfortunate, since i don't know if i can put Dragon Age off long enough to re-re-return to Sins [e digicons][/e] There just isn't enough free time for a gamer.
- And secondly, play the free flash game Dragon Age: Journeys to unlock even more stuff in-game (plus it's pretty fun, kinda like a Dragon Age version of King's Bounty in case you've played it).
You can get items to Origins by playing that flash game? How does it work exactly?
I believe i'm about to encounter my first dragon in the Urn of sacred ashes quest. So far my elf mage + Alistair + Wynne + Zevron have been decimating enemies with not much problems, but what hope could such a group have against a dragon? [e digicons]8C[/e] Loving the game so far, i can't believe i was going to pass this.

There is a PC version of FFVII. Might be quite hard to find one, though. But as someone mentioned, heavily modded Oblivion, on positive side, Fallout 3 needs much less mods, so maybe there's hope for Bethesda yet ;)
Well, i bought it, trough Steam since EA doesn't believe in european Impulse customers [e digicons][/e] With my crappy internet connection it should be ready sometime saturday, i really need a faster connection or start to buy games on discs..
How extensively can they be programmed? I loved the Gambit system in Final Fantasy XII, and if DA has a more advanced system than it was, then it's another good reason to buy it.
I've been playing Bethesda's games a lot lately, and while they do great sandbox RPGs, storytelling is not their strong point (to put it politely ;)) The fact that Bioware's games have always had interesting stories, and that i've heard this game IS actually challenging (unlike Bethesda's), i'm seriously considering buying this. Since i wasn't originally, i've also avoided all hype and spoilers. Steam reveals that my system meets the recommened specs, so performance SHO
The response for this game seems to be extremely poitive over the internet. I've avoided all hype relating to this since i wasn't going to buy it, but these threads all over the internet are getting me excited. If only there was a demo besides the character creator.. Well, i'll just wait till it's a Steam weekend sale, EA doesn't seem to beleive that europeans use Impulse..
Fallout 3 integrates character creation with the tutorial while providing storyline elements pretty nicely, and it even creates a save automatically before the "was your childhood satisfactory?" window (as Yahtzee put it [e digicons][/e] ) so you can skip it in the future, seems much better to me than an unskipable, stating-the-obvious, required-for-every-character tutorial. Unskipable tutorials, manufacutrers logos and intro videos should be illegal. Also,
Only problem with Vista i have is that it keeps changing Games folder from big icons to list, and it hasn't done even that in a while. It also takes quite a while to start responding normally after booting, propably because of all the junk it loads at startup, or the fact that this install is nearly two years old. Otherwise, i [e digicons]<3[/e] Vista better than XP, as my almost-never-booted XP install on my other hard drive can tell you, i use it only as compatibility mode f
