whiskey the forge tools reference files for entrenchment WILL CAUSE MINIDUMPS when used with the current version which is why I suggested my txt bin gui tool, if the reference files did not CAUSE crashes I would have suggested them harpo

steveinstructor could you disable the ds.81 forgetool extras and test again? I ask as I use galaxy forge 3 and have had NO problems with phase lanes, but I do not use any of the individual mod addons to allow different planets as I use mostly random colonizable, so my maps work with ALL mods harpo

the actual program is behaving well, just with a issue involving the convertdata*.exe's stopping working when worked too hard as the mod updater does on mods in bin. th updater works perfectly with mods that are txt as it does not have to convert the file(s) to txt to do the actual update I intend to continue support of the mod updater as long as sins and it's expansions are getting updates. the program will ONLY update mods WITHIN a given expansion ie sins to si

lithlius, the correct folder is in the user tree here for xp C:\Documents and Settings\'user name'\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods-Entrenchment v1.03 or here for vista/windows 7 C:\Users\'user name'\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods-Entrenchment v1.03 NOTE the first two folders after the 'user name' are hidden , so to see them you must first click on 'tools' then 'folder options',

zanyth0x42 please obtain the v2.01 of my mapupdater from my map updater thread . I am working on a MOD updating tool at the moment, but IT will ONLY update sins v1.15 and later to current OR entrenchment 1.01 and later to current, and is designed to copy the mods to the new folder and then update ALL the mods at one time so that a sinner (player OR modder) can have all of their favourite mods in the late

each mod NEEDS it's OWN entity.manifest and the manifests SHOULD be in the mod's folder eg dynamic 0.9b has a entity.manifest in the entrenchment 1.02/3\dynamic 0.9b folder which is potentially different for EACH mod depending upon which entity files are in the mod+entrenchment+sins harpo

grottenolm85 that is WHY I wrote my convertdata gui to cut out the file by file conversion AND use the correct convertdata for the expansion, the older convertdata gui only used the one convertdata and the user had to re-name the convertdata when switching between sins & entrenchment conversion, and had NOT been updated after entrenchment's release harpo

the guide has not been updated since entrenchment 1.02 which is when the galaxyforge folder came in. the guide was correct for all sins up to 1.16/entrenchement 1.02 harpo
