At which point it "should" be stable.
Believe me or not, sins dev have certainly more interest in case like these from Scudhawk that from people where everything is right... remember the launch of the original sins... where some people with Nvidia card was having problem, where people with vista have need some MS kb for correct problem, etc.

First try to play without overclocking... with sins putting all the load on a single core, it is very possible that the core is overhitting, creating instability for the game...

Well, planets are in the gravity well of their sun... stars are in the gravity well of own galaxy... galaxy are bound by gravity in galactic cluster... these galactic cluster are in the grav well of the superclusters who can count 10k galaxy... I don’t know why we bothered though as it seems creating bland, stale, and redundant projects is the guiding mantra behind this embarrassment of a community.
Before a Beta 2, there will certainly sevral revision of the beta 1... first correct some very nasty bug before add something... Don't remember the topic, but it was say that something was planned for next week... was planned early but they are understaff due to the GDC or something like this... Anyway, better that they take their time for correct the actual bug already discover... rushing thing cannot help to improve the quality of the game...

YES... i have test it and it make them a difficult target, same a titan with a few level will have a very difficult time... two starbase near a wormhole who repair each other and with crossing firing zone is a deadly trap... As for now, the "twin fortresses" research don't only allow you to build two starbase in your own gravity wells like it is wroten on the research infocard but it apply everywhere... at sun, it is possible to have 5 starbase with the twin research... useful in

Make a fleet with a scout and a few long range missile frigate... detection range from the scout is good but the firing range suck... If you have a titan, use it with a scout for remove mines... gravity wheel fully filled is around 150 mines at 10 exp by mines... it is 1500 exp, and since titan can shoot far in any direction, mines are easy target...

Here we go... green circle around proximity mine who normally need to explode... As now, mines are only good for level titan... AI build hundred of them and a titan with a scout clean them in less that one minute... 150 mine by gravity wheel, at 10 exp by mine, it is a 1.5k exp... a few planet and you have a level 10 titan without any real fight...
