I have been running Sins on my Vista SP1 laptop since around it came out. I have had no problems till about a week ago. The game would let me run it for about 5 minutes before crashing, taking me back to me desktop and telling me that my memory is low. Again I have been playing it fine for months now. I updated my drivers and it still doesn't work. Any ideas? I need my fix.Vista SP12 gignvidia 8600M GSAlso I tried lowering my graphic settings (the ones that have been working for mon
I get some screen with Migrating next to each player. It's happening over and over. That means the host left. As frustrating as it is, you can't really blame the developers for the host leaving. At least the game tries to find a replacement host, even if it's not always successful
you need to make sure the players agree to play through even after they've lost or it is evident that they are losing :P
The problenm is not limewire. The problem is your family!
altho this is a true statement, it si similar to saying that the problem isn't the gun laying in the living room, it's that people keep picking it up and firing randomly about with it.. limewire is a tool and can be good or evil depending on how you use it.. good (to steal [err share] music files) or evil (to steal copyrighted software).. if you go to [link="http://www.majorgeeks.com"]www.majorgeeks.com[/link] yuo
no, when it does that, it's the video drivers, but instead of just pointing at one single driver, I usually point at the tool that lets you pick from the beta and release drivers .. lemme find it real quick, and I'll link it here. . . . . there it is [link="http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us"]http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us[/link] I'm personally running 175.16, brand spanking new and shiny ;)
I have been playing sins single player and have never had any form of problem, as soon as ive tried to play online it crashes at some stage of gameplay! ... infact ive tried about 5 online games now, and allll of them have crashed! as opposed to my 200 single player games that have all run perfectly? clearly the issue is multiplayer only related and needs to be fixed... today when it crashed, it came up with a message that said "mini dump" error something... im running the latest version
But I mean, will syncfix 'fix' it to the extent that a full game might be playable? Isn't it the same thing as the 'hotfix', just a BETA release?
if you were having synch problems, then the synch fix patch should help you.. if you were having resource/driver/processor/etc problems, and you never sent in any minidump and dxdiag files for the devs to evaluate, then you might or might not get a fix for what ails you.. when ironclad/stardock programs a game, they hav

in the movie, they get to his planet just as he was dieing, he lived long enough to say that he had shot down the one that had killed his (town/village/commune?)

I think it would be easy enough for him to make more movies in the verse.. serenity did show something big that surprised me a bunch tho, during the season, I had assumed that these were different stars they were traveling to, not just all the planets in one system.. We all love the characters onboard serenity, but he could tell alot of other stories from many other points of perspective. Look at how many spinoffs star trek has spawned ;P ps. shepherd is dead, unless you did a time travel th
if you are advent, use malice/cleansing brilliance to wipe their fleet, and then knock out their civics labs where you can find them.. this will leave them with a severely crippled economy and no more free ships..
Did you search the forums to see if this question has been answered before? I believe it is old hat.. you'll find the space ponies when you least expect it..
what is funny here is that sonofsailor posted with a title named internet security.. then asks for advice on getting a new internet service provider, goes on to say that they use norton (whom I wasn't aware provided internet service) and yet people are answering as though the question bananna poke radiator flatbread. More than likely they were asking which internet security suite was the best, but that is definitely not what they asked. to answer, any fo the internet security
Realtek AC 97 Onboard Audio
I had that audio on my last system... an emachine, used to lock when I'd play ffxi all the time, was very frustrating, called their customer support, and they told me I should turn off my firewall :S yeah right.. I personally think that it is evil audio.. so, I bought a soundblaster and put it in, but never went back to ffxi

Here is a test for you.. run sins hit control-alt-delete start task manager click the processes tab click cpu use a couple times till it organizes highest to lowest watch sins sit solidly at 50% get into a network game click the menu-networking look at the ping speed, but also at the cpu number.. the higher this climbs, the more your cpu sucks go back to the task manager notice that it is still at 50% sigh wish that you had a very very fast sin
Is it behind your manual? On the right of my cd case is a cd well with one cd in it (it looks to fit about 4). On the left are 2 clips to hold the manual, one to push down on my imaginary stack of cds, one sticker telling me the address to go to to get my bonus theme from stardock, and another sticker titled PC SINS SOLAR CODE STKR.. that is the one
I appreciate the effort put into solving this but ... come on, couldn't you think of a more complicated way to get those sync info? Replacing the executable and so on, it's really a little overkill I'd say.And what's so hard about the whole thing anyway? StarCraft got it working fine 10 years ago. And today we need to manually replace executables and run special program versions? I'm a little disappointed.
Blizzard wrote sins of a solar empire 10 years ago? OMG SOMEONE CA
