If you are seeing an empty lobby but the number of online people is over 50-70, wait around as you WILL get one either when others log in or as games in progress end...
Hack78
The reason I think it is alloy and a number of others such as How have voiced similar suspicions is because pre-1.1 it wasn't like this. Then some of us who were on back then played and were like "woahh - when did Sins get turbo charged???" But it wasn't repeatable and a number of games I hosted didn't do it (back then I was one of those special group of people that could host pre-alloy as I setup my router :) )
I always thought it was due to host having alloy enabled vs not enabled....
another thing i would like to see is a way to set capital ships to automatically retreat when their health falls below a certai limit, say 25% or whatever. this would be setable by the player so as to prevent unnecessary "glorious last stand" type incidents with your favourite Marza against a swarm of Skavros enforcers
And what happens when the ship runs away when you are colonising because it hit 25% and only had a
When you are actually playing, you aren't actually using Ironclad servers - the game is P2P with the host syncing the game to ensure that everyone has run the simulation up to a certain point before the next round of simulation occurs. Lag is normally because one of the players cannot keep up due to data transmission issues or trying to run the game on a machine that cannot handle it (e.g. have graphics too high etc...) I'm in Australia, so my ping to other people is often slightly hi
There is a difference between asking a question and telling someone how to play when the person in question doesn't understand the game mechanics. I often try to answer people's questions and have any number of posts regarding issues with patching/port forwarding etc... I even answer dbrainstorm's question about where the CD key was in another thread of his. I have gone VERY hard on people who put up game suggestions that I disagree with, but that is completely different.
I guess that's true... Dang it! Why is nobody COMPLIMENTING this guide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Because some of the stuff in it is wrong, so we are correcting it rather then telling you it is the best one we have ever seen!!!
Why are you so upset? You posted something in an open forum, then advertised it and I picked it apart in the main thread and told people in this one that is had issues in it. Other people picked holes in it too. Don't post something as if you are an expert if you aren't.
ROFL - I told you WHERE I found mine as a suggestion of where to look and you get upset because I picked apart another thread you posted that contained fundamental mistakes and was aimed as a guide for other people
Readyman Hohos are great - they repair, can disable enemy weapons AND can do damage of their own (limited amount, but it adds up). However you DO need to mix them into a balanced fleet and get the upgrades to complement them such as health and armor to make their restoration more effective and laser upgrades to increase the damage they do... Catch you in the lobby...
Hey Raging - go check out this link and then post your comments https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/351907/get;2204612
Quoting Hack78, reply 8 The figure you gave is larger the a Star Destroyer or the Excalibre (Crusade) etc... Fixed. I'm thining of changing the combatants to my original idea: China/Russsia/North Korea on one side, U.S./South Korea/Japan on another, and NATO (minus the U.S.) on another. What do you guys think? Samurye.
Can it go to the middle
2) Nimitz Class carrier - The largest Warship on the Earth, the Nimitz is "4 kilometers of soverign US Soil" that can be deployed anywhere in the world. It also has a large compliment of Hornet and JSF fighter bombers to deploy at a moments notice. This is definitely a tough nut to crack.
You might want to get some real life data into your game.. No - you need Impulse. You need to fix/reinstall your IS (or downgrade to XP)....
To some extent, yes. They are good long-range ships. However, their weapons are only meant for anti-bomber tactics.
Fail You also say that spamming scouts is silly
Don't spam seeker vessels or any ship of that equivalent. Your just wasting resources when you could send just one to see what your foe is made of. Remember, seeker vessels are not meant for battle
I suggest you go have a chat to Raging Amish and then report back!!!
Eh, who knows. By the way, I just posted a new military strategy guide in the strategy section. Hope it helps the first timers.
It has some fundamental mistakes in it!!!
I remind everyone of the UNIX OS from Jurrasic Park. Do you really want that??? Not sure if it was true or just an urban legend but I did hear of a Doom OS years ago - you opened a file by shooting it....
Can we have a game option that allows us to choose whether or not we want the enemy to surrender? I'm kinda annoyed at doing so well only to have my opponents give up at their last stand... hell the last game I played I beat one player and all three dropped. To be honest I have not won a good hard victory against the AI since this little thing was implemented... they all give up...
Then I suggest you give the A
Mine was on the back of the manual...
Just remember though that you are taking an extra slot away that you may wish to use - e.g. aux govt or strike craft or more armor etc...
Spam is a english meat product you get in a tin. Monty python does a sketch about it where a bunch of vikings start singing over the top of the conversation in the foreground "Spam spam spam spam spam spam spam spam lovely spam etc..." Essentially they drown out everything else. This term was adopted by computer users to refer to unwanted junk email as it made the legit emails in your inbox hard to locate amongst the "spam" ones, in much the same way you couldn't hear the conv
A guy I was playing with went TEC by mistake, built a starbase and was then amazed that it didn't move. He had only used Vassari prior to this...
I played a game with mevic the other day. I went back and watched the replay because he quit and everyone made comments on it - asking about this thread and him quitting Things I noted 1) He quit as soon as he had lost his cap 2) At one point he had a stronger fleet then the guy he was going against, but didn't follow him to his HW when he retreated and press this advantage. This then allowed his opponent to rebuild his fleet. This lead to point 1.<
So what was the issue???
They have definately helped to reduce the outcries over team stacking....
