One question that I have from what captainAanderson said... does the AI team up in a game and then break alliances with its co-AI?
Yes. There is an option you can set before beginning a game that will either allow players (AIs and humans) to switch teams throughout the match, or will restric them to the team they start the game on. So if you are playing a game against multiple AIs with the teams "unlocked" you are free
well, I thank you CaptainAanderson for respecting my views. It really is nice that a few people do.
Everyone deserves it. If we can't agree on something simple (like the fact that we can't agree on everything) then the end of the world will happen exclusively because of humans, nevermind a pole shift or black hole.

The mayans were fabulous astonomers, for their time. They could not have located a meteor and plotted its trajectory without: A) Telescopes to view it with. B ) Understanding of the strength of gravity and its effect on objects motion in space C) The knowledge that the Earth moves, not the sky. It is possible, but highly unlikely. Objects in space that do not give off or reflect light are nearly impossible to see with just your eyes

The performance bottleneck for sins is usually the CPU, what processor do you have? RAM could be it though, how much do you have? It doesn't sound like your graphics card is the problem since the resolution is low. Sins is notoriously hungry for processor time, even systems WAY above the minimum requirements sometimes experience slowdowns.

You have to embrace the AI for what it is, a series of conditional statements. If X do Y. ( i know that technically it is much more complicated that this, but for this thread it works) Do not let the AI make up your mind on whether or not to get the game, it is a very fun (and time consuming) game with great potential. The AI can actually be challenging on larger maps or with multiple Hard or Unfair AIs, most players lock teams while playing against mroe than one AI so th

Not trying to reignite the argument, but smoothtrooper is technically right. Armageddon, if i remember corectly, actually means "something to be revealed". What that means of course, is up to interpretation. Whiskey, if you read this, don't be mad. We are not trying to trash your views and personally i really respect them.

If there was a combat buff to the lf, suddenly everyone would be complaining about how OP lfs are, rather than how dominant lrfs are. If it was done, it would have to be done very carefully and be a very small amount. Otherwise, the game would not last past 20 min. Which is why i suggested abilities for them, abilities can be powerful, but do not make the ship unstoppable. Oddly enough, the most useful lf later in the game is the weakest: The disciple. For about 30 seconds at the start of a battle they steal antimatter and act as very good batteries. Then they die. @mja5000: big red button? If anybody is using lfs as a late game detterent then they are either playing against an easy AI or a person with brain damage. They are too fragile to hold up against all but the lightest of enemy raids. Put a starbase there and it will do the

LFs are extremely useful in the beginning. defeating the AI to open up new resources. as well holding off the Pirates. 2.) Defense

Fendryx: What race are you playing and what race is the AI? As advent you rarely need more fleet supply than the first 4-5 levels. As TEC your economy should be able to support it no matter what upkeep you are at. As vasari, get the neutrals and upgrade the trade ships and extractors. The AI cannot handle situations with logic, attack a dead steroid with 10 ships and it will send its entire fleet to protect that asteroid. At the same time, attack a fully upgraded, valuable, planet and

The other side is that a mesh with small openings will allow more cool air to radiate into the case and help to cool the ambient case temperature. This means that the fans will not have to work as hard and wil
