Now you see why it took so damn long to write. That, and my sleeping schedule's gone all to hell. Anyway's, just to let everyone know, the next update will be the last in the book, at which point I'll either do an encyclopedia type thingy, or I'll just right into Book 3 which will move from the Advent front to the Northern Kingdoms, which will feature the Vasari rather prominently. I'll also take a look into some returning

I only put these screenshots up here because it's a hot post i.e. will attract a lot of attention. You need to learn that simple social barriers like this are limitations, not laws. Granted, the screenshots aren't relevant to the original topic

Here's a screenshot of Deimos, one of my major military bases: I'm encouraging others to contribute their own screenshots.
This is Saints of a Solar Empire.
Yeah, pretty much. It spreads your culture at the target planet (which is what gives the 6% mitigation increase as that's part of the culture line needed for the Deliverance research) and at the same time gives your ships in that well the 15% damage boost. It looks like it re-applies the damage boost buff every 2.5 seconds so jumping your ships in after it hits should do the trick. And since now that target planet generates your culture instead of

They're good for opening up a phase gate, getting your Egg to his home world, eating it, and getting it back home.

Vasari ships cost a lot more than their counterparts, and there arent usually enough neutrals to really get a huge income off of anyways. Some maps it can be OP, but others its useless. So it balances out You can for example easily get a +5-10 metal/crystal income on any random large map (or any large map or even a random medium map) 10 minutes into the game. Most of the time. Balances out?[/q
As for the update, it's coming, but considering the, erm, enormity of what I want to do, it's taking a bit longer. Just to put it in perspective, this update will end immediately following the opening cinematic.
Wait, what?

Pirates need a buff. Their fleets should grow proportinoally to the amount of bounty with no cap.
Also, the Kostura stun ability is pretty useless considering that you have had subverters (which are much better and versatile in stunning since they can actually disable ships while you're fighting them) for a long time by the time you make a Kostura. As I said before, it doesn't really stun or damage ships, because it's pretty easy to jump them out long before the blast hits. It's very situational. If you have an opponent who's turtl
There is one thing about the advent thats not cheating and gets powerful and fast weapons is building alot of Halcyon carriers and maximizing Amplify Energy Aura and you might get a couple of capital ships at 150% Energy Weapon Cooldown wich means weapons are blazing real fast edit: I have just seen it at over 200%
Yeah ive seen damage shared at 100% with Guardians in one of my fleets. Vasari ships might not be terribly resilient, but reinforcements can come out of nowhere, and quickly.
Vasari ships ARE tough. They have more hull and HP combined than the other races. The point im making though is that in exchange for turning my Enforcers into intergalactic paperweights, I want more regen than what I get currently.
The neutral extr

Flak Burst and Adaptive Forcefield are definitely the Kol's strong points. Finest Hour at 6 is also immensely useful. The Kol is a tank, not the most dangerous combat cap but it can take one hell of a beating.
Can the Kostura target stars or uncolonizable grav wells? I don't play Vasari enough to know? No! But if it doesn't get an update, it won't crack a starbase anyway. In 1.05 and 1.1 it takes 5 or more Costuras shooting at simultanously to even destroy ordinary structures and ships.
Disabling it for 3 minutes is just like killing it... for 3 minutes. I agree the Kostura is weak right now, espically compared to the Deliverance Engin
