How about the time my 7 assailants annihilated 20 Aeria Drone Hosts and 5 Destra Crusaders? The enemy sent a large strike force against a planet I had tons of orbital defenses on. He lost many ships due to me constantly rebuilding the lost turrets, and finally my reinforcemnets arrived. 3 subverters and 7 assailants were all I had to defend with as they were built at the planet next door as replacements for a fleet across the galaxy. If its hilighted it means you CAN research it. If it has a border around it with the bottom right corner cut off, it HAS BEEN researched. The background is two different colors. The brighter one means you have enough research stations built/under construction to research these items, the darker color (always to the right of the lighter one) means you need research stations to research these items (note that the ones you cannot research for any reason are greyed out) Each level is spli

So, today as I was playing i noticed that culture seems to be broken or something is very wrong with it. There are 4 planets: A--B--C--D--E F A and B are my planets. Planet A was a desert planet with 7 culture centers on it. Planet B had 3. I know that culture decreases 50% every time it goes through a gravity well, so planet B effectively had 6.5 culture centers on it. E is a dead asteroid. Planets C and D had 1

What about granting siege frigs a "Planetary Assault" ability that allows them a small % chance of capturing a world intact (ie. no having to rebuild infastructure), mostly intact (some upgrades lost), or or an ability that aids the fleet in some combat role like using their anti-planet weapons on capital ships or starbases for lots of damage (25+). I think this is easily balanced by their weak armor and low HP.

I do what I like to call "the Thermopylae approach" Turrets are more effective than hangars, and I usually max out my logistics slots with about 20 turrets, two or three repair bays, and two or three hangars with fighters and a phase jump inibitor. Does the 1.1 patch which favors strike craft also fix that annoying tactic of "Every single fighter target the same bomber"? I hate it when I have enough fighters to annihilate a Kol but instead of spreading out that firepower to take out many bombers at once, they instead focus it onto a single bomber as if it needed to take 2000 DPS...
